Fly Away
Chapter One: Moving To California
When Sienna was a little girl, her mom would always tell her that when she gets older, she will make her mark on the world. Today Sienna is 18 and is having to move in her dad and step-mom. Her parents split when she was 6 due to her dad having an affair with his assistant. It was 3 a.m. and Sienna was lying in her bed wide awake not being able to sleep. She had so many curious wonders on why her mom would send her away. She thought it was the way she had been acting or the way she ignored her mom. Sienna's thoughts were interrupted by her alarm clock going off signaling for her to get up and get ready. She slowly got out of her bed and made her way into her mom's room to wake her up. Her mom was taking her to the airport to catch her flight to California. After everything was loaded they got in the car and drove off towards the airport making sure they would have plenty of time before Sienna's flight was to depart. They had walked around the airport and then her flight was called to board. They walked to the gate and started saying their goodbyes.
Sienna: Mom, why are you making me move?
Ms. Thompson: Because honey you haven't seen him in 12 years and it's time you get to know your father.
Sienna: Fine but when you receive a phone call from me saying I'm coming home you better not say I can't because I will be coming.
Ms. Thompson: Honey you need to stay with your father. He really wants to get to know you and have you in his life. This will be a great opportunity for you to know him.
Sienna: Fine! I'll call you when I get to dad's house.
Ms. Thompson: Ok sweetie, have a nice flight.
Sienna walked onto the plane and took her seat. She got her iPod out and began listening to her music. She was on the plane for a good 7 hours and when she landed she headed off to go meet her dad. As she was walking, she noticed her dad but also saw two little kids with him. They looked about 2 and 5. She slowly continued to walk over and then she reached them.
Sienna: dad who are they?
Mr. Thompson: Honey, this is Adalynn and Alexander, they are your little siblings.
Sienna looked down and saw the two kids smiling like crazy but she didn't pay any attention and she rolled her eyes and looks back to her dad.
Sienna: Dad can we just get my stuff and go. Its bad enough I have to be here.
Mr. Thompson: Honey don't be like this. Give us all a chance, please.
Sienna: Whatever. Let's just go.
They all walked out to the car and got in heading to the house. When they got there her step-mom came running out to meet Sienna. Sienna got out and went to the back getting her stuff and heading to the house walking right by her step-mom. She walked into the house and straight up the stairs looking for her room. She soon found it and put her bags down walking out on the balcony looking around.
