1. Angst:
~ Both of the knew that, after the events in Tokyo, their relationship changed, and would never be the same as before again. They didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad one.
2. A.U.:
~ Upon seeing the chemistry teacher dressed in a girl's kimono (complete with hair accessories and all), Kurogane-sensei cursed himself for admiring the blond.
3. Crack!Fic:
~ Between Amaterasu's allusions, Tomoyo-hime's dressing Fai mainly in girls' kimonos and the mage's clinginess and insistence to call him "Kuro-danna-sama" nowadays, Kurogane didn't know if he'd die of annoyance and embarrassment first, keep his promise and kill the blond or just pack up and runaway to somewhere where they wouldn't find him.
4. Crossover:
~ They both wondered sometimes why it was that in all the worlds they've been, they've met so many versions of the same persons but not once have they seen another Fai or Kurogane.
5. First Time:
~ It somewhat amused them how they never seemed to have two 'first times' in the same world: the first time they saw each other had been in the Witch's world, their first conversation in Hanshin, the first time they fought back to back in Koryo, their first kiss in Outo (when Fai was drunk), the first time they slept together in Shurano, the first time Fai called Kurogane 'daddy' in Piffle, their first major fight (if one could even call it that, but that was the turning point in their relationship) in Tokyo, first feeding in Infinity (because Fai had refused to drink blood until he collapsed right after arriving there), the first time fighting against each other in Celes and the first time talking without any more lies and secrets between them in Nihon.
6. Fluff:
~ When Fai tried, and failed, for what seemed like the hundredth time to use chopsticks, Kurogane took them, arranged them properly in the mage's hand and, with Fai's smaller hand in his, picked up a piece of sushi and fed it to the blond.7. Humour:
~ Mokona couldn't help laughing at the way Kurogane's face would go beet red for a couple of seconds (before he regained control of himself) whenever Fai would plant himself in his lap. His violent (yet useless) reactions after all of five seconds were equally funny.
8. Hurst/Comfort:
~ Though he still had nightmares (of a long dead brother, of a beloved king), Kurogane's acceptance, his stubbornness to keep him alive, his caring, gentle embrace, soothed his broken soul like nothing else could. And he loved the ninja for that.
9. Smut:
~ As their relationship grew and changed in their travels, so did their intimate moments: from simple stress relief to playful yet passionate to angry and rough (whenever Fai even allowed it after Tokyo), to loving and gentle yet still full of passion. It would always start with the simplest kiss and escalate from there, all touch and taste and liquid heat.
10. UST:
~ The two times in which Fai had fed from Kurogane's neck in the beginning had left the ninja all hard and tense and the mage-turned-vampire annoyed at his own body for responding to that. But both were too proud and too stubborn to do anything about it so they pretended it never happened and Fai started drinking from Kurogane's wrist after that.
