winter
With the first snow of that season, he begins to remember, as New York turns from its bustling self to a frozen, glittering city of white. The quiet and empty whiteness of one of his favorite city plazas parallels a dream-city so well that the next night, he dreams again of the same plaza, after a vision of blazing silver. But now the plaza is in a different world, a different time, and Kristof does not walk alone, but with a dark-haired man who calls him Kunzite with affection. (Or perhaps it was just coincidence that he walked across that plaza that day, for on that same day, across the world, a champion of love and justice forced Chaos to bow down and retreat with moonlight.) Dreams come to and fro, and for weeks, burning through him until he somehow realizes, in a kind of frozen agony, that these are no longer dreams, but memories, and that the city he loves and lives in, when clad in snow-bound white, feels more like the Moon Kingdom of his memories and dreams than the earthly city he lives in presently.

Well, first in a four-part of probably the most insane year in Kunzite's life. Read and review, please! :)
