Gai gets sandwich supplies for the academy picnic
"Hokage-Sama!" The green man boomed as he rushed down the halls of the Hokage tower. "I need your help!"
The Hokage sighed, rubbing sleep from her eyes. She'd been having a very nice dream on top of the forms she was supposed to be signing. The distraught man burst into the room "What is it Gai-sense?"
"Hokage-Sama! It's a disaster! The fair young future shinobi of Konoha can not have their lunch on this beautiful afternoon, with the sun shining bright to light there way to the-"
"Yes, Gai, they can't have their picnic." Tsunade interrupted. How this man was highly regarded for stealth missions she'd never understand.
"Such a cool an hip response worthy of this nation's fine Hokage.!"
"Thank you, Gai. Now the picnic?"
"The Peanut Butter, Hokage-Sama!" Gai flashed a thumb's up as the sun glinted heroically off his teeth. "We are out of peanut butter at the sandwich making table at the academy! The youth of-"
"You need more peanut butter then?" Tsunade interrupted, again.
"Yes, I swore I would get it to them in less than an hour or I'd hop around the village on one hand thirty five times! I only have forty more minutes to-"
"In the mission room in the back, there should be a big crate of jars of peanut butter. A genin team recently brought it for a C-Rank mission, but no one picked it up to take it to the academy."
"Ah, Thank you, Hokage-Sama. If I can not take it to the academy in-"
"Just GO, Gai!" Tsunade boomed, raising out of her chair.
"Yes, Hokage-Sama!" Gai flashed another thumbs up and sprinted out of the room to the mission desk.
Tsunade sighed, glancing at the papers she was supposed to sign and deciding it just wasn't worth it and went back to sleep.
On the top sheet it read, "Jurisdiction to transport one crate of peanut butter jars to the academy by one Maito Gai to be carried out..." The rest of the finely printed ink letters were blurred by a patch of drool.
