A/N Sorry yall for the long pause in updates but my computer can't be transported
at the moment and my jumpdrive grew legs and walked away so I'm at my mother in
laws do to unfourtante car problems and wrong tools. So I'm up late working on song
fics to tide me over. TWD belongs to AMC and the song belongs to the king of country
George Strait.
Right or wrong, I'll always love you.
Oh you're gone, I can't forget.
Rick wandered the outside of the prison chasing the ghost of his dead wife.
He loved his wife so much that he couldn't let her go. He had wanted to fix things,
but that never happened. All Rick wanted to do was protect his wife, son, and daughter.
He would never forget hearing his child's cry for the first time, and watching Maggie and Carl
emerge from the tombs Judith cradled in Maggies arm. One look at Carl and Rick knew,
he knew that she had died and his son had put her down. He remembered finding the walker
that had ate his wife's body. He had started to cut it open and retreive her, but that felt so wrong,
so he killed the monster and stabbed it, till nothing was left of his enegry.
Right or wrong, I'll keep on dreaming.
Still I wake with that same ol' regret.
When Rick slept his dreams were filled with dreams of his wife and the life that they
had once shared. He had hoped one day that they would have that life again. Every
morning he woke he thought back to the eight months that they had spent on the road.
He knew that he should have tried to show her what he still felt, but she had slapped
him away when he told her what had happened with Shane. He had been so hurt that
he had to prove to her that he was the man that she had fallen in love with years ago.
All along I knew I'd lose you,
Though I prayed that you'd be true.
In your heart please just remember
Right or wrong, I'm still in love with you,
Rick had known from the moment he stepped foot in that quarry that he would lose Lori.
He had seen the secert looks and caught snippets of conversations between her and Shane.
Then she was pregant and telling him that she had an affair with Shane. Rick still didn't care
he had loved his wife with all of his heart and he always would. Things had gone so wrong for
the once sherrif now he looked for the ghost of her memory because it was the only thing
therthing him to this world.
