'Xander told me to go after the man I love, but he didn't know that I don't love Riley anymore. No I love Spike instead. It may seem weird but I just do. I like bad boys and I just can't help it. Spike's good for me. He seems to like me too so I think it could work out. He's there for me to talk to and Dawn likes him and so does my mom.'
Buffy approached Spike's crypt and was tempted to just break the door down. Instead she just knocked.
"Spike, it's Buffy, can I come in?"
The door opened and Buffy saw Spike standing right in front of her.
"What do you want Pet?"
"Spike, Xander told me to go to the man I loved and I guess he thought that since Riley was leaving I would go after him, but instead I followed my heart and well here I am."
"You love me?"
"Yes, I do. You're right for me. You're the kind of person I need and Dawn and mom really like you. So I guess what I'm trying to say is… will you be my boyfriend?"
"Yes, I'll be your boyfriend."
"Spike, I love you."
"I love you too Buffy."
After that the two went outside and kissed under the full moon.
