Disclaimer: I Do Not own Teen Wolf. The song is The Worst of Them by Issues
Funny how every time you push me away
You turn around and you beg me to stay
Cut down by the things you say
It's the beating of, a broken drum
She wondered what he was doing right now, who he was with, where he was going. She called him at midnight asking him to come over. Of course he came, just like she knew he would. They had become…well she didn't know what they had become, but she knew it wasn't going to keep him 'him' for long. After everything that had had happened the past year, she needed the comfort of someone she trusted and after the kiss they shared in the high school locker room, she felt he needed a release.
Your love is addictive
I'm trying hard, just to quit it
But you're drowning yourself
You won't catch your breathe
Until you admit it
They were on her bed half dressed and exploring each other's bodies like they had done every night for months. He slid his hand down her side and she still shuttered. His hands were big and warm but they still left a trail of goosebumps wherever they went. She had fallen in love with him, she knew that for sure. She told him too. Everyday, morning and night. At the end of every phone call and every text message. She needed him to know. She hoped that maybe one day he would say it back, but that day was long gone. He had become a zombie. The only time she saw any raw emotion grace his beautiful face was when she told him she loved him. He didn't care about anything anymore. There were times he treated her worse than Jackson did, but she couldn't let him go. She wasn't giving up on him.
This love is a monster
It's eating me alive
Let go of my hand, you don't give a damn
And it's killing me, inside
When he insulted her, she simply held him until he relaxed enough to see that glimmer of hope that he was coming back to her. That didn't happen last night, he didn't come back to her. Not even for a second. He said some things that should have been unforgivable, but she forgave him. She forgave him before the words left his mouth. He said he wanted her out of his life; that he never wanted to see her again. He stormed out of her bedroom without another word.
She didn't want to see him when he came up to her like nothing had happened. As much as she loved him, she couldn't take the abuse any longer. It wasn't healthy for either of them. He needed help that she couldn't give him.
She had to walk away from him, and it was the hardest thing she'd ever had to do.
One of these days
You'll push me away
Turn around
It'll be too late
