Prompts - Challenge. Character used Fat Lady and prompt used Cub.
One by one she watched them grow up from children to young adults.
They start out as a cub and become roaring lion's or lioness all under her watchful gaze.
Over the years only a few had thanked her for the many hours she spent standing outside their common room, keeping them safe.
Not that she wanted to be thanked, but it was nice when they did.
Her little cubs all grown-up and grateful.
