Author's Note - I really want to do this series justice, I've seen wattpad, great stories there, however I don't want to be a complete copy and paste so I've taken a few tweaks and liberties as well as an OC to take the place of main character even though the others will most likely get there own time to shine at certain moments in the series. If you see some inconsistency in personalities or anything conflicting point it out and I'll make adjustments, really want to know what people think of Natsu's daughter so far, that's why I'm going to be introducing characters one by one, just to make sure I get everyone right.
Update 5/23/18 - After thinking long and hard about this I've decided to make this a crossover instead. The concept of asterisks as a new form of magic for the children of the powerful wizards of Fairy Tail will go along nicely in my opinion. Another reason is because I'm an amateur with the fandom I might mess up the children of the gang but if I introduce them slowly I might get info on them along the way to weave them in, that being said I'm going to plan on only having the main four for now. The main four would be Natsu's & Lucy's kid, Gray and Juvias kids, and Erza's. These guys will fight alongside the heroes of the first bravely game, Tiz,Idea etc... this might make things interesting, don't worry it wont be a copy and paste of the story, I'll tweak it as we go on, also there's going to be a few OCs (most of which will have resemblances to people from different games, ask me if youre curious) but they won't overshadow the main cast so no worries.
"Sigma 2, state your objective"
A mysterious shadow appeared before the young man addressed as Sigma 2
"Sir. I am to summon Natsu Dragneel to this world, take his power and then his life."
The boy who was no older than 16 years old had a determined look in his eyes replied but in an almost reluctant way, the reluctance however was well masked as the other colleagues in the room paid no mind to his tone or whether or not it held any objection in it.
"A fairly easy task for our Dragon Gazer hohoho"
A girl in a haughty but attractive voice called out, turning Sigma's and the shadows attention towards her, she had pink hair, with a small royal crown, several black butterfly hairclips, her skin was fair with a busty chest and purple eyes. She seemed to be around Sigmas age.
"Yes indeed, it will be nothing but a small task for young master Sigma"
This time a sophisticated voice made himself heard, he had long blonde hair wrapped in a pony tail sporting a butler esque get up and fair skin. Unlike Sigma and the pink haired girl, this man seemed to be in his early 20's.
"Sigma-sama, I..um, Rem believes in you"
A soft reserved voice then spoke up. The girl who spoke in the third person was short, the youngest among everyone presumingly around 14 years old, she had medium length sky blue hair that covers her right eye, large light blue eyes, with hair clips towards left side of her hair, flower-shaped ribbon on the same side of her hair, and a maid hairband with a maid uniform.
"Sigma 2, this is a very important task, if it is not completed-"
"I know sir, rest assured, I will see this through to the end, the future of Luxendarc hangs in the balance"
"You damn right, our homeland is everything to us, if you turn on us Sigma I swear-"
A loud voice rang through the chambers where everyone was gathered. The man was tall with a muscular build and spikey red hair, his age ranged from 18 to 19.
"Don't be ridiculous you foul brute, our Sigma would never betray us, now change your tone before I make you my puppet for the day, there's a lot of demeaning tasks I can think of for a tool such as yourself"
"Tch"
"Oh my, it appears that Madam Seraphina and Lord Magnus are at it again" said the man in the butleresque attire
"Um...Rem thinks it's because Sera likes Sigma-sama a lot, like a whole lot..."
"Huh?!" Seraphina turned to the two in shock while beginning to blush heavily
"Hm?" Sigma looked towards her with a look of curiosity however it was only for a second before he lost interest and brushed it off
"Don't be ridiculous, I just, just-"
"Madam, you seem to be stumbling on your words which is a clear indication of-"
*Kapow*
"Ouch!"
"There's absoloutley nothing going on between me and Sigma ok!"
"Right Sigma? Hm, Sigma...?"
"The boy already left while you were trying to hide your feelings Seraphina" the mysterious figure pointed out to the girl
"Oh.." Seraphina looked away with a unsure expression.
"If you ask me however, you should be more direct, especially before he takes off"
The mysterious figure said this as he turned around and became lost in thought
"Natsu Dragneel is one of the most powerful opponents young Sigma has ever face, even as a Dragon Gazer I'd say his chances of survival are still...quite low."
The man in the butler getup added as he also averted his gaze from Seraphina
"And you all would knowingly throw him into the lions den! What kind of people are you!"
"Um...Rem doesn't like the idea but-"
"That kid is our only chance" Magnus said reluctantly as he crossed his arms
"Indeed, if he doesn't come through for us, our land is as good as doomed." said the mysterious figure in a nonchalant voice, trying to stay calm about the dire situation they were all in.
(Sigma...please, please come back safe)
In the sandy area of Luxendarc, Sigma enters Ancheim, the capital of the Harena Region
"If I'm not mistaken, I'll find the relic that'll help me summon Dragneel, I'll have to prepare for the worst...Okay, lets go."
Sigma took a deep breath as he entered and sought out the merchants known as the Sparrowfeathers, they were known for their relics that were said to be one hundred and ten percent legitimate, never failing to meet the clients demand.
"The flute of rebirth" this'll cost you a pretty penny, but it's effects will definitely please you mister
"I have the price covered"
Sigma handed a pocket sized bag to the merchant as he looked inside he looked please
"I threw in a little extra just incase, I know the Sparrowheads like to negotiate to fetch a higher price but I'm in a rush" Sigma said as he grabbed the relic and began to walk
"Pleasure doing business with the enforcers as always, send my regards to the guy in charge" the merchant gleefully said as Sigma faded back outside the capital and into the desert area of the region.
(In an isolated area of the region/desert)
"It's time, Ancient Relic hear my plea, I ask of you to bring forth the rebirth, bring to me the one known as Dragneel and his source of his power!"
Suddenly the sky blackened and thunder rumbled the land a massive tremor hit and then as soon as the strange climate came it went
"..."
Sigma saw no sight of anyone, he thought he had been tricked, thought being the keyword
"Ugh, I guess that's what I get for trusting dirty rotten-"
"Hey! Look out below!"
"Huh? Ack-!"
*Crash*
"Ugh...wait...who?" Sigma stared wide eyed at who had just dropped out of the sky
It was a girl with brown eyes and long messy pink hair that reached past her shoulders. She was on the ground rubbing her head as Sigma looked at her wardrobe that consisted of a purple tanktop and shorts, he began to slightly blush noticing that she had a curvaceous body.
"Hey what's the big idea! What are you doing in my room you perv"
"Err...were' not in any room...were in the desert.."
"I'll teach you to interrupt a ladies beauty sleep, Fire Dragon Iron Fist!"
"Ugh!" Sigma quickly reacted to the immediate threat with a quick dash, as an "enforcer" he wasn't given the nickname "Black Fang" for nothing, in fact before he had awakened to his Dragon Gaze Asterisk he had mastered dark elemental magic quite well, however...
"Heh, your fast, I like that looks like this'll be a good fight afterall...Fire Dragon Talon!"
The pink haired girl thrusted at the boy, poor Sigma could barely avoid her attack this time
"You're out of your mind lady" Sigma scowled at the girl
"You're just mad that you can't keep up" the girl shot back at Sigma with a mischievous grin and a dominate stance, she then slammed her fist into her hand
"Ugh...fine have it your way then...I won't hold back anymore" Sigma declared as he took a fighting stance
"Great, I'm all fired up now" she said as the two stared at each other with determination
"One thing though" Sigma said in a calm voice
"Huh?"
"If I can best you, then you'll calm down and answer one question for me" Sigma said as he ready himself for an attack
"Yeah yeah, cmon I don't have all day, I gotta kick your butt then figure out why the heck I'm in the middle of the desert when I should be in my house taking a nice long bath"
"..." Sigma stood in silence "youre unbelievable"
"Thanks hehe" she said smiling once again
"That wasn't a compliment!" Sigma shouted as he began to envelope a dark aura, catching the pink haired girl off guard
"What the..."
"Dragon Gazer secret art, Dragons Bane!"
The girl took one blink as she was immediately pumbled by three hard strikes of what seemed to be dark fists of magic, she then dropped falling unconscious as Sigma stood on wobbly knee's panting.
"Using a dragon gazer secret art so early, and it was the weakest of them all too...there's no way, if this was Natsu Dragneel I would've been dead, there's no way I'm ready, I should leave before-"
"Man you don't pull your punches, that was a neat trick by the way, I've never seen that type of magic"
"!"
Sigma turned his dead in disbelief, he saw the girl get up, gingerly but still getting up. The Dragon Gazer secret arts were suppose to be able to render any dragonslayer incapacitate, that was the purpose of a Dragon Gazer, after weakening the slayers with their secret arts, retrieving their powers should be no problem however...
"You've got to be kidding me"
"Fraid not, your going to have to do better then that to take out Nashi Dragneel"
"Nashi Dragneel...?"
"Daughter of Natsu and Lucy Dragneel"
"Daughter...?"
Sigma began to put two and two together, the summoning ritual was a bust, he had transported the child of the man he was sent to kill. Not only that but if she was only the daughter and she was still standing after a Dragon Gazer secret art...
"I never stood a chance..." Sigma said in utter defeat
"Hey now don't tell me your giving up already" Nashi shot back at Sigma giving him a mischievous grin reminiscent of her father "At least not until I'm done kicking your butt!"
Nashi went in for a finishing blow but this time Sigma couldn't dodge, his Dragon Bane secret art took everything he had, and he was barely standing, Nashi charged at him full speed
"Fire Dragon, Sword Horn!"
"Ugh" Sigma prepared for the impact as Nashi landed a direct hit on his gut "Ack!" Sigma was struck and was launched a far distance before being laid out on the ground
"Hehe looks like I win" Nashi said as she gave a cocky smile and wink very reminiscent of her mother
(A few hours later)
[I never stood a chance, pft what was I thinking, just because I gained the Gazer asterisk didn't automatically mean I was ready for this, did the other enforcers know, my so called friends did they know I'd fail...that's my life I guess...always alone, always-]
"Hey! Wake up! Wake up I got questions for you naptimes over!"
"Ugh...what the...hey, why does it feel like on something"
Sigma could feel his body laying on the sandy surface of the dessert however his head was a different story...
"Is this a pillow...a pillow in the desert...no..." Sigma's eyes opened and there was the brown eyes of the curvy girl looking back at him
"What the! Woah! Hey there!" Sigma quickly jumped to his feet and moved away from the girl out of embarrassment "What's the big idea! You call me the perv then you do something like that!"
Nashi looked at Sigma dumb founded
"Look, that's not something a girl should be doing for a random stranger ya know that's all I'm saying" Sigma said as he crossed his arms and looked away with slight embarrassment
"Hehe, you act just like Storm does whenever I do that for him too"
"Storm?"
"My friend, we've known each other since we were kids, I guess you can say were practically inseparable, well except in this situation, so tell me stranger where the heck are we ?"
Sigma could only look in awe this girl is a strange one...well I lost the duel so I guess I could go along for now...besides it's not like my so called enforcer buddies would care.
"Were in the Harena Region"
"Harena what now? Never heard of that in Magnolia haha"
"That's because were not in Magnolia...this is Luxendarc , I...transported you to another world..."
"You what?" Nashi looked at Sigma with a look of concern and angst, her cheery demeanor had disappeared
