CHAPTER 1

THE FIRST POKEMON

Snore... ZZZ... Snore...ZZZ... "Go Bulbasaur, vine whip."ZZZ... "Squirtle, water gun" ZZZ..."Charmander, flamethrower" ZZZ... Snore... ZZZ... Yawn...

"Ash! Ash! Wake up you're still sleeping? Aren't you going to get your pokemon from Professor Oak today? It's the middle of the day. "

"Gaahhh" Ash yelled. He jumped out of bed, ran down the stairs, got on his bike and went to the Lab as fast as he could. Once he got there he ran in.

"Oh, Hello Ash" Prof. Oak said. " Can I get my Pokemon? Hmm. Should I get a charmander? Or maybe a squirtle. No no I'm going to get a bulbasaur. " "Calm down Ash, you see.. you were the last one to get here and I don't have any more Pokemon. You can get one next year. " said Prof. Oak. "But can't I just get a wild one? " Ash questioned. "It's dangerous to be trying to get Pokemon if you don't have any with you." Professor Oak said. "Just let me try, please" Ash said.

"Fine I'll give you five Pokeballs and a pokedex." Professor Oak decided. Ash thanked the Professor and went venturing into the woods to get a Pokemon. He came upon a little Pokemon getting chased by some Fearow. "Hey, stop! "he yelled at the fearow. The fearow let try to peck at the little Pokmon. Ash tried throwing stones at the birds but missed. He tried throwing a Pokeball at the fearow but it just escaped.

He picked up the little Pokmon and started running away from the birds. The birds pecked at him and tackled him to try to get their prey back. Ash came out of the forest with many little cuts and scrapes. "Hehe see we got away from those bullies" ash said. Ash got out his pokedex and pointed it at the little Pokemon. "Larvitar" the pokedex said "No data. " "I'll have to ask professor Oak about this." ash thought. "Hey Larvitar would you like to come with me?" Ash asked. Larvitar replied with a nod.

"Okay, go Pokeball. "Ash yelled as the threw the Pokeball at Larvitar.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Clink.

The ball somehow looked brighter and white sparkles came out of it. "Let's get you to the poke center, Larvitar" Ash said before he picked up Larvitar's pokeball and headed to the poke center.

I changed the chapter because the one before was pretty much trash. I hope this is better.
