AN: Alright, so this story has been around for a bit. I wrote is a long time ago. And year by year, I always find myself coming back to it. I still have the original version saved, but I'm not going to leave it up. I decided I'm just going to revamp this entire fic. Lily is my oc. She will be the main oc of this fic. Lizzy and Amanda will not play major roles. They are her friends, and are thus important to show how loyal she is but they will not be major characters. I also realized I wrote the character with varying differences, but still too similar to be seen as separate characters. I once had an oc submission challenge in here to use them and pair them all with akatsuki but I realized that it's not how I want this fic to be. I want it to be concentrated on my main OC and how she worms her way into the hearts of the akatsuki. My goal for this story is to earn over 100 reviews so if y'all would make that a reality, my heart would leap over the moon. My goal for this story is to form a cohesive plot that shows realistic character development and also shows a bit of creativity. So, to old readers, thank you for coming back, and for new readers, welcome to the rabbit hole.

Disclaimer: Naruto is not, nor will it ever be my creation.

Chapter 1: Looks like I have new house guests

It was an extremely ordinary day. The birds were signing. The sun was shining. The wind was blowing. There was nothing that could have classified this day as abnormal. Liz, Amanda, and I were hanging out in the basement just like any other day. Naruto played in the background as we yammered on about school, boys, and our dysfunctional families. It was going well, but my throat became dry.

"Hey guys, I'm going to grab a soda, y'all want anything?" I asked.

"Grab me a code red peasant." Amanda commanded while Lizzy shook her head. I just sent a killer glare toward Amanda.

"I get that you're used to being waited on, but would it kill you to have some manners?" I sighed and sent her a teasing look. She knew I was kidding, but I knew it was also part of her personality to be a bit uppity.

"Please" she sighed dramatically before throwing a pillow at me. I stuck my tongue out at her and ran upstairs toward the kitchen. Liz yelled to grab her a water, and I snagged some snacks on my way down. However, as soon as I stepped on the stairs, the entire house shook and I ended up tumbling down them.

Liz and Amanda ran toward me worried, but I stopped listening as soon as I heard a male's voice.

"Liz, Amanda, shut up. We have to hide. There are other people in the house" I whispered, a grim look on my face. They must have heard the urgency in my voice because they ran and hid. I tried to get up and hide but my ankle screamed in protest. It must have been the adrenaline, but I was able to get up despite the burning pain.

Amanda and Liz hid in my room. I scanned the empty family room for any potential spots, but came up with none as the sound of heavy footsteps came closer. I darted into my room, terror coursing through my veins. Liz was hiding behind the large chair I kept in there. Amanda hid underneath my bed, and I scrambled onto the shelf in my closet. My ankle was throbbing now. It took all of my will power to stop myself from crying.

My heart dropped as the doorknob began to turn. Liz let out a small whimper, and I could see Amanda quivering. We were all terrified. We had no idea how many people were in my house. We had no idea what they want. Our lives were hanging in the balance. The door creaked open slowly and a tall man stepped in. A bandaged sword, as tall as he was, hung on his back. His skin was… it was blue. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought it was Kisame. Another shorter man followed him. He had shoulder length raven hair and sharp red eyes. He looked exactly like Itachi.

They began rummaging through my room. It seemed like they were attempting to find something. It's like they knew that we were here. I made eye contact with Amanda. Her eyes were filled with terror yet there was a glint of confusion. She must have made the same connection I had.

I felt myself stop breathing as the Kisame doppelganger came into the closet. I shifted closer to the wall. He looked around the closet and looked up. I closed my eyes in fear and prayed he didn't notice me. As soon as it seemed like he left, I let out an inaudible sign of relief, but that was cut short as I was yanked down by my ankle, the shelf coming down with me.

I let out a heart wrenching scream and a tear streamed down my face. My ankle looked swollen and purple. It took all of my will power not to sob. Amanda held her hand over her mouth. Liz jumped out of her hiding space and ran towards me.

"Oh my god, Lily! Are you okay?" she yammered on with a horrified look. I slapped her across the face and looked straight into her eyes.

"You fucking moron! You at least had a chance, but now you're damned too. Why couldn't you have just stayed hidden?" I lecture, watching the amused 'Kisame' and the impassive 'Uchiha' intently. Liz held her cheek and looked shocked. I had never struck her before, but this was life or death. I looked at Amanda pleading for her to stay hidden. Understanding flashed across her face before I glanced at 'Itachi'.

They two men didn't react throughout our entire exchange. I thought about running, but I wouldn't get far with my injury. Liz at least had a chance. I almost told her to run but Kisame held a knowing gaze.

"Don't think about escaping. If you girls try anything, I'll kill both of you." Seconds after he threatened us, a wide grin showed us all of his bright teeth. They seem more and more like the Akatsuki, but that was impossible, wasn't it?

"Kisame, take them to leader-sama while I check to see if there's anyone else. I have a feeling there is one more." The Itachi cosplayer said. My heart dropped. They… they couldn't be here…They couldn't.

"Yes, Itachi. Be careful. We don't know what these girls are capable of. There might be something beneath the surface." Kisame warned.

Kisame threw us over his shoulders and carried us up the stairs. I hissed in pain when my ankle hit the wall. A brief look of sympathy crossed his eyes, but it was gone not even a moment later.

Seconds later, Itachi came in holding Amanda in his arms. She was kicking and fighting, but Itachi only looked annoyed. He dropped her on the floor next to us. Amanda grumbled but said nothing more. Suddenly, we were surrounded by nine men, and one woman. They all looked like the Akatsuki. Pein had all of his piercings. Tobi had his mask, Zetsu had his plant thing. I was terrified.

"Good work Kisame and Itachi," Pein said impassively. He gave away no emotions. This is it, we're all going to die. Pein turned his gaze on us. "Who are you girls and do you know where we are?" His stare was intimidating, and coupled with my throbbing ankle, it took time to process his questions.

"My name is Lily. The girl Itachi brought in is Amanda, and the girl with the brunette is Liz. You're in the state of Missouri. I have no idea how you guys got here, and I don't know why either. All I can ask from you is that you don't kill us." I replied calmly.

I could be mistaken but a brief look of surprise flashed through every members' eyes. I wasn't scared, and I had brazenly made a request of the leader. Hidan began laughing maniacally, "Man, this bitch isn't scared of us at all. C'mon Leader-Sama, let me sacrifice these heathens. There screams would please Jashin-Sama."

Liz and Amanda looked at him with slight terror. I sized him up and moved slightly in front of the other two. Pein looked at me with slight amusement. "Hidan, you will not kill them. We have no idea where we are, what this world is, and how to survive here. These girls are our best bet. Lily, we will be staying here, and you will show us your world, understand?" Pein ordered. I bit my lip and tried to hold my tongue, but I couldn't help it.

"How dare you? You people come into my house, threaten my friends, and order me to take care of you or die. I am not some girl you can push around." I seethed. They all looked taken aback, but Pein snapped out of it and slapped me.

"You will not disrespect me, little girl. I don't want to be here anymore than you want me here. You can either host us willingly, or we will hold you captive and force you." Pein threatened. I held my face, and jumped up, but I immediately crumpled do the immense pain in my ankle.

"Fine, I will let you guys stay, but you have to let my friends leave in one piece. They won't say anything. I promise," I begged, resigned to me fate. Amanda gasped and looked at me. Liz grabbed my shoulder.

"Lily, No! We won't leave you!"

"Dammit Liz, shut up. I know what I have to do, but I won't let you guys suffer too."

We were interrupted when Pein held up his hand. "I find those terms acceptable. Sasori, Deidera, escort these girls out of the house." Liz protested, but she was no match for the Akatsuki.

"Goodbye friends," I said, a tear falling down from my face. The Akatsuki looked at the girl before them with a newfound respect. She sacrificed herself to make sure her friends were safe.

"Where will we be sleeping?" Konan asked with a kind smile. I returned it, not willing to let the pain in the ass that leads them get me down.

"I will be staying in my room in the basement. I have 3 extra bedrooms. Sasori and Deidera can have one, Kisame and Itachi can have another. Pein and you can have the third. There are two couches. Tobi and Zetsu can have those. Hidan, Kakuzu, You guys can have the air mattress. Are these acceptable sleeping arrangements, Pein?" I asked, hoping he wouldn't fight me.

"Yes, those are suitable." He approved. I let out a sigh of relief, "We can get clothing later. I also need to go grocery shopping if I'm going to be feeding 10 extra mouths. Thank the gods that my parents left behind money." I showed each pair to their assigned spot, and finally hid in my room. The damned Akatsuki are in my house. Running my fingers through my head, I sighed and laid down. Man, today started out just like a normal day, why couldn't it end like one.

Andddd that's a wrap my dear friends. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this piece of writing I've been editing time and time again, although very sporadically and with long long times between each update and such. But I suppose that is the life of a very busy young adult. So enjoy and try to stick with me
