A New Beginning
Teyla smiled as Keller handed her, her new born daughter. She could hardly believe that they had done this, that they had made this life. As she looked into her daughters eyes, she was overcome with a variety of different emotions, everything from fear to excitement for her new life with her husband and daughter overcame her.
As she looked up at Ronon, she noticed the pride in his eyes, and she could help but see how much he had changed in these past years from the man that she had first met.
He had changed from a loner runner with no home, to a happily married man with a daughter in just over three years.
Then again she had also changed since she had come to Atlantis, and since she had met him. When she had first come to Atlantis she never once thought that this would become her home, or that she would raise a family here.
In fact, when she had first arrived she had hated the idea of marriage, she would rather explore and take advantage of being single, and she had never in a million years thought that she would be a mother, but after only a few months of being with Ronon she seemed to have completely different views on those subjects,
And there was only one person that she could thank for that, Elizabeth Weir, had single handedly given Teyla the courage to tell Ronon about her feelings, and now she was the happiest she had ever been. When Ronon and her had first gotten married they had tried to included some earth rituals in their weddings, and so Weir was her made of honor.
Only a few months later was Weir taken from them, and as upset as Teyla is at the fact she knew that Weir would want everyone to be happy and continue with their lives, and that is what she did and know she was here with a new family, and the best life she could had asked for.
"So what will her name be?" Keller asked as she smiled at the sight of the new family.
"Elizabeth," Teyla said with a small smile, "Elizabeth Emmagan-Dex."
