Arthur's barefoot adventure
Arthur and them go barefoot all summer long. They heard kids being barefoot is good for their feet. Their parents came up with that idea. They will be seeing their toes a lot. They all have 10 toes after all. Even D.W. Emily, and Bud will be barefoot. It is good for little kids to be barefoot more. So Bud will be barefoot and even not wear his hat.
"Honey when you get dressed keep your feet bare," said Mrs. Read, "So no shoes and socks."
"Any reason why i will be barefoot?" said Arthur, "And what about D.W.?"
"Her as well," said Mrs. Read, "Feet are made to be bare. So that is why skin on our feet is thick."
"I have been thinking about doing that for the summer," said Arthur, "I have nice looking feet."
"That you do," said Mrs. Read, "You sure take care of them. Your toes are perfect."
The same going on the Compson house. We see Bud is Barefoot and hatless and in his regular clothes.
"So barefoot and hatless all summer long?" said Bud, "Is that what your saying?"
"Yes indeed Bud," said Cisely, "You have nice looking feet and toes."
"That i sure do," said Bud, "Can you trim my toe nails please?"
"That i sure will," said Cisely, "You said that well."
"That i sure did," said Bud, "I love getting them trimmed makes feet feel good."
She trimmed his toe nails. Now we head to Buster's house. Buster like them is Barefoot.
"So barefoot all summer long? said Buster, "Did i hear that correctly?"
"Yes indeed Buster," said Bitzi, "Kids here go barefoot a lot. Same with you and your friends."
"That is good," said Buster, "Hi there toes. I will see you a lot."
"Yes that is true," said Bitzi, "You have 10 of them."
They all will be barefoot all summer long. But they could wear sandals or flip flops. See what happens next.
