Those Three Words Meant The World To Her

Those special words meant everything to her. She was happy that someone she truly cared about had said those words, which she only dreamed about. Years would pass and her special someone still said those three words to her. She would still get those butterflies in her tummy everytime he would say it and he she would say it back. She thought they would be together forever, since she felt more for him than anyone. He would tell her that he loved her more than anything. She would smile and cry tears of pure joy. Everyone around them thought they were meant for each other. It seemed as though she loved him more and more each day. As for him...he began to say those words less and less. She would say it and he would simply smile and give her a kiss on the forehead. her happiness began to fade and so did his. Now it was obvious that they were not meant for each other. One day, he said that they needed to talk. She knew that this was the end. They met and they discussed their status. He told her that he no longer felt what he had felt for her when they were together at the beginning. She nodded and walked away. He walked the opposite direction and they never said a word to each other after that. Late at night, tears would stream down from her eyes as she thought of the wonderful years that they both had spent. The memories, the places they went, the pictures and the things that were said and done. She knew that all those things were over and would never happen again. She would break down knowing that she would never hear those special words that meant everything to her. Her smiles began to fade. She was miserable...he was the one whom she would dream of having a family and being together forever. Their love would have been stronger. But sadly he did not have the same idea. As years passed by she tried to be happy about how she was now. She had friends who tried everything to make her happy. She would try to smile as a thank you. But that never happened. Her friends worried more than ever. Then, one night she couldn't take her sadness anymore. She ended her life. Her sadness had driven her mad and she was depressed. Death seemed like the only way out. So she took it. Her friends read the note at the very end it said, "Those three words meant the world to me."
