First, and foremost, I have no idea if this will even work, or if anyone will read this. I've seen the movie, and am currently on season three, but I adored Bike in the movie. I haven't read the comics, and Googled Pike to see how all of this will fit, as I am hoping that it does.
I know Joss said that anything movie and TV show of BtVS were not meant to be cannon, I own the thought or opinion. Everything else, except random OC's belong to me. BtVS, will always remain to Joss and Fox.
[The Beginning of the End]
"Senior year, here we come!" Xander announced proudly, as the crowd took the first step of their last year at Sunnydale High School. As he said it, no one in the Scooby Gang looked happy about it. Well, except, maybe Cordelia, who had been dreaming of Hollywood or Beverly Hills, or whatever had been part of Buffy's last school city before ending up here.
"C'mon now, don't seem all excited, all at once," Xander added jokingly, as the entered the courtyard.
"We're jumping for joy on the inside," Willow finally spoke up, as her boyfriend, Daniel Osbourne, preferably known as Oz, comes and wraps his arms around her from behind, which had surprised her a little.
"Sorry about that, I wanted to surprise you," Oz tells Willow, and then gives her a kiss, as Buffy just smiled and rolled her eyes. She was single, and appeared to be fine with it, though, everyone in the group knew that there was only one person she had wanted to be with.
That was when he come in. No. Not Angel, which, in fact had been the person the group knew she had wanted to be with. This person was different. It had appeared that he had dyed brown hair, stood about six feet, and hazel brown eyes.
"Buffy Summers?" he questioned, as he approached Buffy, knowing that it was her.
"Yes?" Buffy questioned in return, not yet, deciding if she wanted to further the discussion, knowing that she did, as she recognized Pike's voice. She also knew the questions that would be coming later. He had left her Las Vegas, so why show up now? She had friends, and a vampire boyfriend, a new life, and now he had to come back.
Then she turned around,deciding not to show how she had felt towards him. She already been through this with Billy Fordham, and she didn't want to go through it again with him.
"I just transferred here, care to show me around?" Pike asked, as he got her attention.
"Whoa! Hold up, how do you know Buffy?" Xander investigated, as Xander does.
"We went to school together, before she transferred here," Pike tells Xander, and the rest of Buffy's friends, who had more than likely had been thinking the same thing, but before the conversation could go any further with her friends, the bell wrung.
"World History awaits," Oz announced, as once again he had given Willow a kiss, and headed to class, as did Xander and Cordelia.
"So what did you really come back here for?" Buffy asked, as the coast was clear, and it was just her and Pike.
"I needed time to think, and I figured I owed you an apology, in which, I do, but Buff, in all honesty, I think, for the first time in history, there is a male Slayer, and I believe," Pike began. When Buffy had heard the last part, she knew where it was going, she had heard the line too many times, not to know.
"It's you," Buffy said for him, knowing that the only option left was to go see Giles.
