A pause; nothing. His fingers seemed to falter as there was no explosion. No explosion of light—sound—smoke…
An almost unseen emotion flickered across his painted and scarred face: annoyance.
For once, his control over Gotham hand faltered, his madness and fear inflicted upon them broken.
No…Heheehi…
All he wanted was for them to play his game. Couldn't they just play? That was the only, only reason. Just one little push.
One…little…button.
He hated doing things himself.
