SoftWare: Well, here you go.

Saria: Come on, can't this wait?

SoftWare: I get a new idea, I use it.

Link: (Sighs) SoftWare does not own The Legend of Zelda.

Chapter One

Fairy Partners

(A clearing in a forest with a lone tree)

A pair of fairies flew around the clearing, playing, when a voice spoke up. "Navi, Loki, come hither. I would speak with

thee." The two fairies approached the speaker, a large tree in the center of the clearing. "A dark power approaches

Hyrule. Even I am no match for it. It seems it is time for the two without fairies to begin their journey. Go to them, and

bring them hither." The two fairies departed, and flew through a passage leading to a village consisting of hollow trees

with holes for doorways. They passed several of the villagers, young children of the forest, each with a fairy. Flying

around, they entered a treehouse with a ladder out front, and found two figures sleeping in a bunk bed. One was a boy

with blond hair and a green cap. The other was a girl with green hair and a hairband. The two fairies flew around them,

trying to wake them up. When the two awoke, the boy saw the fairies, and faced the girl. "Morning, Saria." Saria got

up, and rubbed her eyes. "Morning, Link. What's going on?" Link pointed at the fairies. Saria looked up at them. "Oh,

we have fairies! Finally!" Link looked at the fairies, who had signaled, trying to get their attention. Navi spoke up. "The

Great Deku Tree wants to see you two! Come on!" The two faced each other, then ran out of their house. Upon leaving

the house, they saw two familiar faces approaching them. "Hey, Link, Saria, good morning!" The two climbed down the

ladder, and faced the pair that approached them. Mido faced Link. "Is Saria still mad about that flower?" Link rolled his

eyes. "My sister is not into flowers, Mido." Saria in the meantime was speaking with the other visitor. "Hey, Fado, check

it out!" Loki flew overhead. Fado squealed with excitement. "You have fairies! All right!" Mido shook Link's hand. "I don't

know what took so long, but it finally happened." Link faced Mido. "We were summoned by the Great Deku Tree." Mido

nodded. "Wait here, I think I have something that can help." He ran off, and came back shortly afterwards with a sword

and shield. Link put them on his back, and the twins ran towards the Deku Tree. When they arrived, he faced them. "I

am glad you two have come. I have a task for you. Do you have the courage to fight for those who cannot?" Link

nodded, followed by Saria. "Then enter, and pass my test." As he spoke, a doorway was revealed, and Link ran in, Saria

close behind him.

A/N

SoftWare: Okay, it's probably not as good as other novelizations, but Link and Saria do act like brother and

sister, okay?

Link: (Sighs)

SoftWare: Also, today, as in 5-11-2018, I was in the presence of Craig Culver, the co-

founder of the Culver's restaurant franchise. In fact, we were at the original Culver's restaurant in Sauk

City, WI.

Saria: Where's that?

SoftWare: It's... not in Hyrule.

Saria: Oh.

Computer: SoftWare, offline.
