Intro to my story

Darkness before dawn

Darkness, darkness is all I see no matter where I run, I can't see. I'm not even sure which way is forward and which way is back. It's all the same, the image of my mother's corpse, the white carpet and walls stained with her blood, the face of her killer, his black hair, red eyes, little muscle and the knife coated on her blood.

I woke up panting and crying. 'Great another one of those nightmares' I thought. Once I had calmed down, I got out of bed and went downstairs to get some water.

Life so far: my mother was murdered when I was 7 that was 10 years ago, ever since my dad-Jude Heartfillia- has ignored me. He only talks to me when it about marrying one of his business partners-they are normally 50 to 60 years old-I hate it, I hate the dresses, I hate the shoes, I hate the money but most of all I hate HIM.

All I want is to have a normal life as a normal teenaged girl. I want to go a public school, not some private all-girls school, for the rich bitchy girls. Once I finished my glass of water I went back upstairs and jumped back into bed.

Chapter 1: from one school to the next

Lucy's P.O.V.

I was at mermaid academy for the rich, I was just walking to class but before I could get to class the announcer called me up to the office. Ok this is weird their not allowed to all me to the office during cause 'I must not be distracted' or that's what dad says, when I arrive at the office I see one of my favourite butlers Alzack. "What are you doing here?" I said "you will be going home to pack we are moving" he said sadly, he lives here and that's where his family is, his wife Bisca and his child he found out two nights before she was fired. Another reason I hate my father he tried to kill the baby by saying to have an abortion but she said no so that's the second reason he fired her, for standing up to him. "How's Bisca doing?" I asked, he looked at me and smiled "she's doing great…oh yeah I forgot we have sided on a godmother, well more like 4." I said. I looked hopeful "who are they?" I asked existed, he chuckled and smiled at my eagerness "well they are, Libra, Virgo, Aquarius and you" he said. When we finished talking he told the car door open for me, "thank you Alzack" I said 'ok off to my new house'.
