The secrets of Mako

In Mako mermaids we know her as Lyla, in H2O we know her as Lucy Fry. What if I told you the year after Zac became a merman, Emma, Rikki and Cleo became mermaids. Lyla and Zac have been watching out for them since the start. Now everyone has graduated they have to reveal themselves to protect Rikki, Cleo and Bella. What will the other mako mermaids think about all these secrets?

Lyla's Pov

I stood up to collect my graduation certificate trying as hard as I could to blend in and not to be noticed. My name is Lyla, that's my real name or my Pod name but in school I've been known as Lucy. I don't get noticed much and I try to be as quite as possible.

Cleo, Rikki and Bella are all mermaids who discovered Mako Island a year after Zac fell in. I saw them but they didn't see me. I have seen them all ever since and for 3 years I have watched over them.

Zac knows them and knows about me seeing them, but he keeps quite. I know Serina would go mad if I told her because you see that Zane boy, the one who dated Rikki. Well their Cafe was taking her and David's customers away and well they have never exactly been best friends.

Nate, he is our friend too, but he is like me. He has a different name, because his parents split up and his mum changed his name a year ago. He is now called Cam, he had him whole hair change and everything. Well, know one really knows why but I don't want to be the first to find out. I don't trust him.

Nixie likes him, don't ask why because I have no idea but she does and in my opinion it's a bit weird.

Anyway, his dad left without a trace, he was a murderer, at least that's what the rumours say. I don't know what to believe at this school, I'm glad I'm leaving but I do know that Cam has never really spoken about it to me.

Zac and Cam have been best buds forever and ever Zac doesn't know about his dad, and thats weird. My point is, Ive been looking out for Cleo, Bella and Rikki for ages but Emma went away so I lost track of her. All I know is that now that we have left school things will get a lot harder.

Zac and I have a plan to tell them we are mermaids, or merman and mermaids and then we can hang out with them, become their friends. Then we need to single out Zane and tell him so that we can keep them all in the group. If they separate then it will get so difficult. That's why it's a pain Zane and Rikki broke up, we don't know what might happen, if we can trust Zane or more importantly if Zane has another Girlfriend.

We have to go and investigate...
