Monster
challenge one
Her mother thought she was a monster.
A monster.
What mother would think that? (Maybe she was just being honest. It made sense, after all, her mother was an honest person.)
Her mother infuriated her. She showered Zuko with love and kisses and hugs. Azula thought that was preposterous. Shouldn't parents raise their children to accept that the world was unfair, so they're not surprised?
Maybe because she just had a messed up brain from the start. There also might be the slim chance that maybe, maybe she was just jealous. Azula would never admit that the last one may just be true.
And now she contemplates it, in her insane mind, as she rots alone in her asylum cell.
