When he loved her
When he loved her, he was happy,
When he loved her, he felt as if he was the luckiest guy in the world,
When he loved her, she loved him,
When he loved her, he knew she didn't want to be a monster,
When he loved her, he always promised he'd protect her,
When he loved her, he said he didn't want her to become one of them,
Then everything changed.
And even though he won't admit it, he still loves her, and he knows she still loves him,
But he will no longer see her, because she's in a sunny place and he's not,
If only he could tell her that he still loves her.
