Seto…
Seto grunted and turned in his bed.
Seto…
He turned and turned in his bed, beads of sweat slowly rolling down on his pained face.
Seto…
He gripped his blanket tightly and turned his head from side to side.
SETO!
"NO!"
He shot up. His normal hard, blue eyes were wide with fear. Beads of sweat rolled down on his face. He panted and gasped for air. He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against the palm of his hand as he calmed himself. 'A dream…It was all just a dream…' he opened his eyes. 'A dream……' He closed his eyes and the picture of the girl in his arms appeared in his head immediately. He opened his eyes filled with sadness.
'Kisara…'
Seto walked around the palace. His mind was clouded and he dazed often. He passed Isis, not aware of her presence. The Millennium Necklace bearer watched the dazed priest walk away. 'I wonder what happened to Priest Seto…He's been like that all morning' the priestess thought, concerned for the dull priest.
Seto sat at the table in the library. He held a feather pen and a piece of papyrus paper sat in front of him. Though he tried his best to focus and concentrate, he could not find it possible to do so. On the papyrus paper, he had barely written except for the words 'white dragon' and 'Kisara' in Egyptian. He looked at what he wrote and sighed. He stood up and left the library.
Seto slowly walked along the familiar place that haunts him in memory. He placed his hand on a cracked pillar and looked around. Everything was just the way it was. Old, cracked, and a bit destroyed. He slowly walked to where his father's shadow monster and his father, the Millennium Eye bearer, Priest Akunadin, stood. This was the only hint of darkness. The place was only tainted with little darkness. The majority one could sense was pureness and light. He walked over to where the stone tablet of the white dragon should be if one went back in time. He looked all around him. So many memories…so much pain…sadness and loss. He kneeled on one knee and gently touched the cracks where the stone tablet appeared long ago.
'Kisara…'
Seto…
His head shot up.
Seto…
'It can't be…' He quickly got up and looked around for the owner of that familiar voice. Pure, sweet, and angelic…
Seto…
"Where are you?! Tell me where you are!!" he frantically asked. He desperately needed to see her, to hear her, to touch her pale, soft skin, to be with her.
"Please!! Where are you?!!"
I'm right here, Seto…
He stopped and looked around. He stiffened. It felt as if someone had touched his back and laid his/her head on him but he could not feel, only sense.
I've always been here Seto…Waiting for you to come back…
"Where are you? I can't see you anywhere!" he asked.
Seto…I'm always with you, no matter where you are…Do you know why?
He shook his head. It felt as if someone had intertwined their hand with one of his.
It's because I'm with you in spirit, monster, and heart…You may not be able to see me, but you will always know and feel that I'm near you…And because I'm always in your heart…
It felt as if someone had placed their hand over his heart. Unconsciously, he placed his own hand over the person's hand but felt nothing except a slight feeling that there was a hand.
Seto…Just remember this…
"Remember?"
Know that I'm always with you and…I'll always be in your heart…forever…
Tears began to form in his eyes. He felt the slight presence slowly fading.
"Wait!!"
I'll be with you forever…And I shall always watch you…
Those were the last words he heard before the presence faded away completely. He slightly smiled and looked at the sky. Tears were streaming down his tanned cheek.
"Thank you…Kisara"
