Ahadi's father, Mohatu, wasn't teaching Ahadi about the Pride lands and being a King today.
But instead of playing with Uru, Ahadi decided that today he wanted to train a little bit.
Because after all, what kind of King would he be if he couldn't protect his pride?
Uru decided to be Ahadi's assistant. The cheery Crimson-brown Lioness always brightened
Ahadi's day. "Alright, how far was that one?" Ahadi asked as he ran up to his friend.

"Hmm... Maybe 2 feet?" Uru guessed. Ahadi sighed.

"AND I used a rock to jump from!" Ahadi ran back to the rock, and sat down with a sigh.
Uru sat down next to and placed a paw around his back. She tried comforting him.

"Hey, I know!" Uru jolted up with zeal. Ahadi looked at her curiously, and then watched as the
small lioness began biting a small tree's branch. Ahadi looked at her funnily.

"Uru, what are you doing?" Ahadi asked, confused. Uru stopped biting the tree's branch and
turned to her dirty-gold friend.

"If we get enough branches, you could practice by jumping over those!" Uru said with gems in her
eyes. Ahadi smiled.

"That sounds like a good idea! I'll help." Ahadi said as he began to bite the tree's other
branch. The two cubs also found a few stray twigs that they could use. After gathering
all of the wood, they placed them in a specific order so Ahadi could jump over them. Like
an obstacle course! Ahadi readied his position, then leaped over two of the branches.
He wasn't very successful, as he tripped over the third branch. He sighed after an "ouch"
"How will I ever be a good king if I can't jump over a few tree branches?"

"Why don't we go get some more? I'll bet there' some rotting drift wood at the water hole."
Uru remarked, trying to cheer Ahadi up. He smiled weakly.

"And I think a drink of water would really help too." The two friends strolled along to the
waterhole. The two cubs ran up to the clear blue water, spotting a few pieces of drift wood
floating in it, just as Uru had suggested.

"Look, there's some!" Uru said as she jumped into the water. But just as she did this, Ahadi noticed
a few Alligators come up and go towards Uru.

"Uru, no!" Ahadi said as he ran up and jumped towards Uru, pushing her and himself onto a small
island in the middle of the waterhole. The two lion cubs clambered up a rather thin looking
tree, trying their best to avoid the Alligators. "C'mon!" Ahadi pressed, and he leaped from the
tree to the other end of the waterhole, Uru close behind as the two cubs ran for Pride rock.
As they finally were able to slow down, they sat down and panted.

"Wow...Ahadi...you saved my life." Ahadi smiled. "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome." Ahadi said with a smile. Uru just realized.

"Hey...wait...did you notice how far you jumped?" Uru remarked. Ahadi looked shocked.

"Wow...I guess I CAN jump long distances!" He said happily. Just as he was about to say something
else, Uru interrupted him by giving him a lick on the cheek. She giggled and ran away.
Ahadi's eyes widened, and he rubbed his cheek with his paw as Uru ran off.
