Quinn ran out of the auditorium as fast as she could, her heels clicking down the hallway as she heard a smaller click coming after her.
"You did this to me! You made me come out! You made everyone boo me off the stage it's your fault!" They walked into the empty bathroom.
"Quinn-" she reached for the blonde girl but she pushed her away.
"Rachel! I just came out to everyone in there. I won prom queen and what did I do? I shoved Finn out of the way and told everyone that I was in love with you! That I'm ga-"
"QUINN! I've been out for months now! I've gotten stares and glares and I've been pushed! I had to hide my relationship with you! I had to hide it from everyone! I had to walk down the hallway while you were with Sam and then Finn! How do you think that feels!" Quinn tried to talk but Rachel started again "I've never been so proud of you. It will get easier I promise. Look at Santana and Brittany they barely get any crap anymore." She touched Quinn's hand but she pulled it away.
"I know you think it's hard to be you Rachel, but at least you don't have to be terrified all the time."
"What are you so scared of? The looks? The glares? What? I'll be right there with you!"
"The future, when all of this is gone. When you're gone, and you've realized that you're too good for me. Before, when we just fooled around, I could push all of my emotions away…But now it's real and I'm messing it up. I know it!" she said, tears slowly dripping down her face. Her arms across her heart, almost as if she was trying to protect it.
"You have nothing to be scared of. You are a very pretty girl Quinn. Prettiest girl I've ever met.. But you're a lot more than that. You're more than your looks and I see that. I see that you push all of your feelings and emotions away from the world" she said, speaking in a whisper now "Because I see right through all of that Quinn." She closed the distance between them, unfolded her arms and placed them on Quinn's shoulders. "Now. You are going to go out there and you are going to take that crown and tell all those boys that want you to fuck off because I have you for now and forever because the future is not scary. It's ours. Together" She kissed her on the nose and led her out of the bathroom to the auditorium.
