She could remember him; all the details, all the words, all the feelings. She remembered his face, handsome and honest. His eyes, a crystalline, blue-green that was light as ice. His voice, calm and reasonable. No more, no more, was He. Those words he had spoken had long since been worn away by time. He would not remember her beyond "Oh, that one girl", or so she thought. Maybe not even that in her current form. It was a logical guess, she had been gone at least a year now. That long of a period of time would smooth away anything. Coupled with what had happened..

Softly, Irenx sighed and looked below her. The few lights in The City had flickered on as night fell, the only true light source coming from the luminous, heart shaped moon that glowed behind her. If she hadn't come into this.. nonexistence, she might still be in that world watching him walk past with that distinct, slightly amusing, walk that was almost a waddle. It was rather unfitting for such a wiry, handsome guy. Not that he knew if of course. He had never been the kind to flaunt his good looks. She doubted he even realized how hot he was.

Her hazel eyes closed sadly. She missed him, missed him with all her nonexistence. Or, since she really couldn't feel, she knew that her somebody missed that teen, now an adult she supposed, with all her heart. If one was a Twilight fan, they could have likened the situation to a werewolf Imprinting upon a person but being unable to be with that person. It had torn her heart into shreds knowing that, Irenx knew. She sighed again, more loudly this time, and pulled her mp3 player from her pocket. As always, once she asked, 'Time?', glowing digits announced both the time of The World That Never Was and her home world's time. 9:30PM was the time for her world. From what her memories told her, he would be in bed by now and snoozing.

A portal opened up behind her and the nobody stepped through without a second glance. She wouldn't be missed for the short amount of time she would spend here. The portal opened to a bedroom, sparsely furnished and suitably messy. The first thing she noticed was the scent. Her memory banks instantly identified the smell. It smelled like him. The second thing she noticed, of course, was the person curled up on the bed, the dark freckles on the back of his neck matching up with her memories. Softly, Irenx smiled. Being here like this, it made her feel like she was almost whole again.

She recognized his black-brown hair, the broad shoulders, the soft mumbles of sound that he would occasionally emit, the calloused hands that curled under his cheek delicately, the fine, thick eyelashes, straight, fine nose, the close-cropped goatee. All of her memories screamed at her to run to him and hug him so fiercely so as to never let go. Resisting the urge, Irenx continued to survey the young man before her. All in all, she could understand why her somebody had fallen in love with him.

A sudden wetness and blurring of her sight had the nobody confused until a single drop slid form her chin and onto the floor. Another swiftly followed, cascading to the floor with soft taps. A thin, sad smile crept up the nobody's face again, this time sorrowful. Being near this guy was almost like being whole again. Glancing at the clock that kept time on the man's desk, she sighed as it displayed 9:42PM. She would have to get back before the others noticed her absence.

A portal opened behind her and Irenx whispered softly as she turned to go back to her usual nonexistence, 'Goodbye, Love...'
