Allison Cameron was now on the floor of her flat with her five-year old niece, playing with wooden blocks.
And truthfully? That was the best time she'd had all week.
After her third fight with Chase, her week had been looking quite pointless.
Until, that is, her brother Joshua had asked her to take care of Alice for a month, while he and his wife went to a business meeting in Chicago.
Alice was a miniature version of Cameron, with dark brown wavy hair, and dark blue-gray eyes.
"Aunt Allie?" said Alice
"Yes, Alice?" asked Cameron, her thoughts interrupted.
"Who's that?" She asked, pointing to a picture of her and Chase.
"Oh, that's my friend; his name is Robert Chase,"
"Oh, OK. Can we go to the park, Aunt Allie?" Asked Alice, with big innocent eyes.
Cameron smiled, "Sure we can, Alice,"
