Chapter one-"I want to join you"

8th September,2:36 AM.

Darkness.It was the only thing visible that night.That and the streets of Jump City,only a bit illuminated. Some people were still walking at the streets,most of them were robbers,and one or two were probably coming home a little late.No one could notice,in a dark alley, a pair of eyes watching every step they took,waiting for something interesting to happen.One of his parts hoped to something happen there,while another didn't.But something happened that night.He sensed something wrong around there, and started to walk,avoiding the light.A few seconds later,he heard a scream and saw and a creature made of stone attacking a woman.Seeing that,he immediately picked some small explosives and threw at it,knowing it wouldn't kill it,making it try looking at him,but it didn't find him.When it looked back to the woman,she was already gone.After that,the person who defended the woman started to chuckle,just to scare it,and stopped 2 seconds later.He saw that his plan worked.The creature was starting to get scared,so he appeared behind it and kicked its head twice,dodged its enourmous fists and kicked its face,bringing it down.Then,he picked a dart containing an liquid and threw at it.At the contact it exploded,liberating a gas,and the creature fainted after some time.

Titans Tower,2:38 AM.

The titans were preparing getting out,after the police called them telling them that Cinderblock had escaped from prison and probably walking around the town.After some seconds,they left the tower and started looking for Cinderblock,which wouldn't be dificult,even with Beast boy complaining about waking up so early.It really wasn't difficult,three minutes later they found it,and to their surprise he had been defeated by someone else.They started to look for the person who defeated it,but it wasn't necessary,because he came out of the darkness and stepped into the light.He had white hair,was wearing some clothes that looked like a mix of ninja clothes with ancient Asia assassin clothes,and looked like 17."Who are you?"Asked the titans leader.

"What do you mean?"

"What?"

"There are many ways of answering that question."

"No,there isn't.Who are you?"Asked the leader,this time irritated.

"And who are you guys?"

"What?How don't you know the teen titans?"Asked the changeling.

"I'll ask only one more time.Who are you?"

"Who are you?"

"Stop answering my questions with another question!"

"Then stop answering my questions with answers!"

"That just doens't make any sense at all!"

"Dude,stop that conversation,my head is spinning!"Said the changeling.

"Fine.If you don't want to talk about it,it's ok.But why and how did you defeat Cinderblock?"

"I did it because he attacked a woman,and I sensed that it was the right thing to do.I fought it for a while,and then threw a dart containing chloroform so he fainted after some seconds.Any other questions?"

"Hey,what if he join us?"

"I don't think that's a good idea Starfire,I mean,we don't even know him!"

"But friend Robin,he helped us to defeat Cinderblock!"

"I don't know.Why don't you ask him?"

"I don't think that is possible."

"Why not friend raven?"

"Because he already left."

"Damn."

Titans Tower,11:00 AM.

All the titans were awake,having breakfast like every day,and like every day Cyborg and Beast boy were arguing about what they would make,tofu or eggs.After a while,they a knock on the door.They saw it was the person from last night,and came down to talk to him.

"Dude,why didn't you ring the doorbell?You just have to press a button!"

"I know,but I hate doorbells."

"Why are you here?"

"Calm down,I'm here to apologize.And I thought about what your friend said.I want to join you."
