Garden Love Poem
Beneath the garden's azure sky We hid ourselves away
Beneath the garden's azure sky We hid ourselves away
Talking of what was, what is
And future's happy days
Plans and dreams are simple thingsWhen seen in lovers' light
Where logic fades and magic reigns
Supreme in all its might
Love unchecked is strong indeed
Dangerous but true
Consuming, lighting, burning, feeding
The body through and through
Love that fades, love that lasts
Either can prevail
But candles that burn brightest
Are also first to fail
So love me now, before the end
While our hearts still burn true
Beneath the garden's secret leaves
And sky of azure blue.
