As "Till death do us part" continues Kagome uncovers the much talked about prophecy. Repeated over and over again, does she know the prophecy? In all reality no one truly does. Said lay out of the future had been cut into three places and only the first was uncovered. As the story trolls on, Kagome encounters friends prepared to lay their lives on the line. They are ready to sacrifice themselves for the Greater Good but is the Greater Good really what they should be sacrificing for?
This Naraku seems to have everything in order. From Kagome's first murder scene to Inutashio's death and maybe even the events that occurs during the Lords' and Lady's stay at the Western Castle. But not all great plans follow through.

And thus the jewel will be needed.
Of course, because of this prophecy, told to the Lords of the four corners so many years ago, many have searched high and low for this jewel. The Keeper of the Shikon Jewel has been known as the purest of all souls and because of that can keep the war raging inside the jewel itself at peace. Over the years, the Jewel was passed down to those only of the purest soul as family bond was nothing concerning the jewel. However, the value of the Jewel muddied many minds and for a time being the Jewel passed down to the eldest daughter of the fifth Keeper and that tradition continued until the devil caught wind of the miss use of the jewel.
From then on demons and humans far and wide went to search for the unpure jewel. With the jewel in their possession, that person would overcome all. Even the Greater Good would aid the keeper of the jewel less it be for good or evil. The Jewel is one of the trinkets in the world to aid the Greater good to keep a balance. The Greater Good is heard to be foolishly naïve. The keeper of the Jewel could never be evil, and that thought has blinded the Greater Good.
Should the Jewel fall into the hands of those impure once again, the devil will once again come forth.
