Prologue
At the end of school Doremi and her friends were walking back home.
"Boy, the test was so hard!" Doremi whined.
"I found it rather enjoyable," Hazuki said.
"Speak for yourself," Aiko said sarcastically.
"I got stuck on one problem," Onpu admited.
"Well," Momoko said, "things could have been worse."
"I better get home," Doremi said. "Sayonara."
Doremi waved goodbye to her friends and walked home. When Doremi returned home, her mother came in.
"Doremi," Haruka said to her daughter, "a letter came in for you."
"For me?" Doremi asked.
Doremi opened the letter and read a strange writing only she can read:
"Doremi, there is trouble across the world and I need you, your sister, and your friends to help me. Meet me at the road near the Maho-dou. The project is code magic. Your Godfather, Warlok"
"Warlok!?" Doremi shouted.
Doremi called her friends and they headed to the meeting place. The Ojamajos were standing on the road near the Maho-dou.
"So, who is this Warlok?" Hazuki asked
"He is my godfather," Doremi explained. "Warlok comes from a world beyond ours. He is what they call an Ant Warrior. They are a group of Mansects, humans with insect features, that protect their world from the forces of the Realm of Darkness. Back then, Warlok was a close friend of my parents and when I was a baby, they made him my godfather."
"Sugoi!" Aiko said in awe, "he must have been a great hero."
"He is not only a hero," Doremi informed, "he is a sorcerer!"
"He can do magic like we can?" Onpu asked.
"Hai. But his powers surpass all the magic the witches and wizards have."
"How can you be sure?" Pop asked her older sister.
"He visits me in my dreams and tells me all about him," Doremi said.
"And he probably knows you are a witch apprentice," Momoko said.
"He knows everything," the red-haired girl said. "About my story, my friends, and my adventures in the Majo-Kai."
"Sugoi!" the Ojamajos said in unison.
"Hey, what's that?" Doremi asked as she pointed at something.
Out of nowhere, a blue double decker bus appeared right in front of them. The side door opened and Warlok the Blue Knight appeared.
"Welcome to the Kyukainian Bus," the Blue Knight said, "traveling transport for mystics. My name is Master Warlok Durongo and I'll be your conductor for the entire trip."
"Konbanwa, Warlok," Doremi said to her Mansect godfather.
"If it isn't Doremi Harukaze," Warlok said. "How's my goddaughter doing?"
"Doing fine," she said.
"I see you've brought all your friends," he said.
"Hajimemashite, Warlok-san," the Ojamajos greeted.
"Same here," Warlok returned. "Well, the night is young so we must be off. All aboard!"
The Ojamajos boarded the bus and took their seats.
"Warlok," Doremi asked, "where are we going?"
"To Anaheim, California, USA" Warlok informed.
"You mean we are going to Disneyland?" Pop asked.
"Exactly," Warlok answered.
"But how are we going get across the sea in this land vehicle?" Hazuki asked.
"Don't worry," the Mansect Sorcerer asured. "This transport has built-in hydrofoils to allow it to run across the water with ease."
"Sate sate, ikon!" the Ojamajos shouted in excitement.
"Enjoy the trip," Warlok said to the girls before turning to the driver. "Take her away, Bert!"
The driver started the engine and the bus took off at high speed.
