Hello my favorite readers! Just to let you all know, I'm still alive and kickin', life's just been busy so I haven't been able to update on my fanfic Space Trek! and if you'd like more info on that, please take a look at my profile, I'll explain there.

Since I've been busy, I decided to grab another one of my old poems from years ago and use it here just to show off my rhyming skills for you guys (if I have any). For the poem that I've chosen, I think it goes really well with how Helga feels about her dad Big Bob. I kind of think Helga could have written this, maybe in her teenage years since it mentions driving away.

Also, if anyone hears a song with lyrics that are EXTREMELY close to this poem, please let me know right away! I have an ex who stole this particular poem of mine to use for his music. Thank you!

Enjoy this poem written by "teenaged Helga" and don't forget to

REVIEW!

xXx

No one wants to cry
No one wants to be alone
But this hurt is too much for me
So I plan to leave my home

He just yells at me
And I scream right back at him
I see in his face that
His patience is wearing thin

So I'm going to pack my bags
Nice and neatly once he's gone
And that's when I'll depart
On that quiet dawn

Good-bye, my father
You knew the time has come
And I'll never think of you again
Not one bit or even some

My key is turning now
And the ignition starts
I'm still ambitious here
Because you broke my heart

I'm so scared of the road ahead
Because these roads will never stop
I'm attempting my own escape
And I hope I won't get caught

The tears keep running
My heart is beating faster
I'm pressing on the pedal
Releasing nervous laughter

And I'm gone

xXx
