Arthur stood still as a statue, waiting for his father to stop his annoying and unneeded ranting. All this for the fact that he had caught him and Merlin doing it. Sure, any father should be shocked when they discover their kid is gay, but they shouldn't be yelled at and told that it isn't right, not following the law.
"And I hope I got my point across!" Uther yelled. "You shall follow the rules of this kingdom!" "No." Arthur said. "I will not bow. Not to you, anyway." and with that, he walked out, leaving his father furious.

"Let's watch it burn!" Morgana yelled, proudly sitting on her horse. "Let's." Morgause said, putting her hand on Merlin's, her prisoner, shoulder. "NOOOO!" Merlin cried out, hearing all the screams of all of Camelot's towns people. Merlin desperately hoped Arthur had gotten out, safe. He felt tears roll down his face. "It's the end of Camelot!" Morgana cackled, her laughter ringing it Merlin's ears. "ARTHUR!" Merlin called out, sobbing.

Merlin ran to catch up with Arthur. "You know, I can hunt on my own." Arthur laughed, stopping so Merlin could catch up, AGAIN. "No, no, we don't want you to end up getting hurt and left to die." Arthur tried his best to hold back a laugh, but he failed. Merlin rolled his eyes, walking ahead. "It could happen." Merlin muttered, taking in the beautiful scenery. 'This is more than enough for me.' Merlin thought, smiling. "What are you all smiles about, Merlin?" Arthur asked. "Nothing." came Merlin's response.

Uther was more than furious. His own blood was standing up for a magic using creature. "Can't you just listen to me!" Arthur yelled. "No! Can't you see! They're Savages!" Uther bellowed. "No! Look into this person's eyes! Do you see the makings of something evil!" Arthur wanted to stomp his foot so badly. "No, but it will be there! Just wait!" Uther said, sounding like a stubborn child.

Arthur caught himself staring at his lover, Merlin, again. He couldn't help himself. Merlin was close to perfect to him. Sure he messed up somethings, but he was just to cute to hate or be mad at. "You know Merlin." Arthur said, now behind Merlin, whispering in his ear. "W-what, Arthur?" Merlin said, caught off guard Arthur's actions. "You're the last thing I never knew I needed." Arthur said, kissing Merlin before he could say a thing.
