Zuko cleared his throat as he looked at the others, his eyes lingering slightly on the two girls. He had yet to find a wife, though he was no less of an effective leader...
There was Toph, not much taller than when they met, blind, but no less powerful. They got along thick as thieves, if those thieves were business only, that is.
Then there was Aang and Katara, who married on the eve of the treaty that Ended the second Great Fire Nation war. The couple were... friends, with Zuko. Though he got as far away from them as he could, if he could. At least... since the wedding...
He cleared his throat again. "I've called you three here today to discuss something important..." He moved across the table from them, reached down, and pulled a shieve of paper from a desk. "It's about the boarders."
Katara swallowed hard. "Zuko, you cant be asking for more land. I know that the Fire Nation is ever-growing, but-"
"Actualy, with my idea, the Fire Nation loses a lot of territory, the Water Nation close to doubles, the Earth Nation stays close to the same, if slightly bigger," he looked Aang dead in the eye. "And the Air Nation gains double its original land mass." Aangs eyes widened.
"Zuko I..."
"Dont." He smirked slightly. "You'll need it... one day." He rolled out a map, it showed the current land mapping. A sea of red, tipped with blue at the eastern, western, and southern corners, white at the northern corner, and speckled with blotches of brown.
"I want to change all of this" he waved a hand over the map, looking at each of them in turn. "to This." He took out another map, and rolled it over the first map. it showed the elemental energy map. Air, Water, Earth, and Fire in the North, East, South, and West.
"I wish to separate all the nations, thus eliminating the need for war." He put a finger on the fire symbol. "The Western Fire Nation."
Toph moved to Zukos left. "I think I get it... I like it." She slapped a hand on the earth symbol. "The Southern Earth Nation."
Katara and Aang moved across from them. Aang spoke first. "The Northern Air Nation... Finally, a land for my people to be safe. Or rather... the future of my people." He lightly placed a finger on the air symbol.
Katara looked sceptical and cautious. "I don't know... What about all this... Space, in the middle? Are we removing it somehow?"
"That... is a good question. This is where I need the help of the Water and Earth Nations. I propose we make five islands. Each nation, then a central meeting ground to conduct trade in."
"No war?"
"None. That I can or will conceive."
"Ok. I agree. Eastern Water Nation." She placed a delicate hand on the water symbol.
