Ladies and Gents, I welcome you to my newest story, I Kissed A Girl.

Edit: I've been going back and forth from making this an all-character story with disconnected chapters, but I've decided I like this where it stands. Depending on reviewer input, I may or may not continue.

1. Ferb

The first time Ferb had kissed a girl had been the scariest and most exciting moment of his life.

He'd been looking for a book in the public library when it happened. Most kids his age, his step-brother included, barely ever touched foot in a library unless there was a school assignment to go along with it. Ferb however, loved reading. He loved getting lost in a world that someone had created, with characters that went on so many adventures and faced the tests and trials of everything imaginable.

He picked up a book that his father had recommended to him. And older book, he had said, but nonetheless full of mystery, adventure, and discovering a world that was said to be forever lost.

Upon reading the first few pages, Ferb was hooked. He chuckled to himself at a witty comment the protagonist said, before stumbling over a pair of feet.

Both Ferb and the book went flying, and he dusted his dark pants off before reaching for the book. Instead, a long slender arm held it out to him. He followed the arm up to a shoulder, to a neck, and then to a very familiar face. Ferb's faced flushed when he looked into the eyes of his childhood crush that he had never known, Vanessa.

She was leaning against the wall at the back end of the library, her knees pulled to her chest and a book resting on them. She smiled at Ferb's reddened cheeks and set his book next to her.

"Ferb, right?"

Ferb never took his eyes off of her dark red lips. Many things about Vanessa had changed since he saw her last, but those lips were still the same. And Ferb was still entranced.

He nodded.

"I never could forget that green hair of yours."

That was all it took for Ferb to take the book from Vanessa's hand, and join her against that back wall. Conversation left from Ferb's green hair to the book he was currently about to read, to the one that Vanessa had in her lap. The two were both surprised at how similar in taste their reading choices were, Vanessa being in college and Ferb still only in his sophomore year of highschool.

Before the two knew it, the library was closing and it was time to go home. The pair stood up and stretched, laughing at how fast time flew. Ferb tucked his book under his arm and watched Vanessa push hers into the bag across her shoulder. He snorted as she cursed under her breath, muttering about the clutter and useless papers filling her backpack. She shot him a look and raised her eyebrow. His hands went up in mock defense. The book fell. Vanessa's laughter rang out in the empty library.

The two walked side by side, finishing up their conversations until they finally came to a stop. On the left was Vanessa's door to exit. Ferb's was on the right.

"I had a great time, Ferb."

Ferb smiled. He loved the way his name sounded on her lips. Even years after his childhood, his stomach still jumped upon seeing her.

"So did I, Vanessa."

She smiled back at him.

And as he turned to leave, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Vanessa's hand. He faced her, and she said, "Maybe we can do this again sometime?"

He was speechless. All he could do was nod. So he did.

"Great. Tomorrow, same time."

Again, Ferb could only nod.

Vanessa laughed, and placed both hands on her bag as she stepped toward her door. She bit her lip in a moment of thought, then turned back to Ferb and placed a small kiss on his lips.

"Thank you."

And this time, Ferb spoke.

"The pleasure was all mine."
