Prompt: #38 (AU) Space!AU
"I just need space okay." Chic growled as he stormed through the ships corridor.
"We are in freaking space all ready Chic!" Kevin followed after his husband. "How much more space do you need?!"
Chic sighed as he slowed down. He turned around and faced his concerned husband. "I don't need space from you."
"I know." Kevin softly replied as he stepped a little closer to his beloved. "Look I know living on a ship is a lot harder than living on Earth. We see the people whom live here with us … and only them all the time."
"I knew what I was signing on for." Chic shook his head. "I think I'm honesty feeling that cabin fever that we always learned about. Not being able to walk out in fresh air is just getting to me." He sighed as he looked at the wall behind Kevin. "Not seeing the sun is getting to me. All we are seeing is darkeness and stars."
"I miss home also." Kevin sighed. "But at least we have the ones we love the most with us on this incredible adventure."
Chic's lips lifted. "Yeah there is that." He stepped and leaned against his young husband. "At least mom didn't a come with us. That means that us Cooper kids can finally get away from her." He smirked. "A whole galaxy away."
"You guys miss her horribly through." Kevin looked into his husband's eyes.
"Yeah we do. She's our mom. Not matter how much she tries to control us … we know that she loves us very deeply." Chic wrapped his arms across his chest. "I think this much space fever is just the feelings that I always felt growing up under mom's thumbs."
Kevin rested his head on Chic's shoulder.
