"What are you doing?" In a stuffy library of Hogwarts with a dark storm going on outside a tall boy with brown hair a two scars across his face curiously asked the girl how was standing on a desk balancing books on her nose.
"I'm seeing if the information from the book can go into my head if I do this!" The girl with brown hair and bandages exclaimed as she grinned over at the other. Laughing he reached up and grabbed her and sat her on her feet on the floor "Hey! Remus! It was starting to work! "She pouted up at Remus.
"Hahaha I think it would only succeed in getting you hurt Heidi" He patted her head and took the book back and placed it safely on the table. "Have you become tired with studying already?" He asked sitting back down on a chair "Yeah! It's so boring! And it's stuffy in here! I want to go out and play! "She grumpily crossed her arms and sat down at a chair opposite of Remus.
"We've been here for half an hour, including breaks. I think you'll be fine… besides we need to study for the exams, that and if you haven't noticed it's raining outside" he said picking a book up "Eh!? B-but! I would be fine! It's only a little rain!" She exclaimed before jumping at a loud clap of thunder "Or maybe I'll just stay here so you don't get lonely!" She grumpily reached out for a book and starting reading… for a minute before she started fidgeting.
Remus sweat dropped before placing his book aside and picking her up and sitting her on his lap and started reading again. "Huh?" Heidi looked up at Remus before smiling brightly and started reading. "Hey… Re?" Remus looked up from his book and placed his head and the top of hers "Yeah?"
"Once we leave Hogwarts…. What do you plan on doing?" She asked "Well, I'm not sure really. But I do like the idea of teaching others, so maybe becoming a teacher?" He said scratching his head thinking "What brought his up?" He asked bringing his hands to hold around her stomach "…..I- I'm not sure…guess I'm just a little tired after all this studying…." She said holding his arms.
"Yeah, same here… but we do this so we can have a better life in magic. Heidi? are you listening?" He looked down at her as he heard a slight snore.
"…zz…zzzz…. "She snored a bit in a sleep "Haha maybe we should end study session for today" He said mostly to himself as he smiled down at the smaller. Before he closed his eyes for a moment just basking in the heat the other gave off, unlike outside where a storm was ragging. 'Her hands… have they always been this cold?' he thought as he held the small soft cold hands in his big warm ones 'I guess it's just the temperature in the library…' He glanced around before seeing as the sky was dark and the candles were lighted despite being 12:00 pm. getting caught up in observing the sky outside the window his eyes started dropping in a sleepless haze. Resting his head softly on top of hers he joined her in a tired sleep.
"Hey, Remus… you know the question I had asked you back then, about what you would do when you leave Hogwarts?... well I just wanted you to know that any future I would wish to have, truthfully any would be fine with me, just…just as long as I'm by your side the whole way…" Heidi said as she held Remus's hand as he slept silently despite the ragging storm on the outside of their sanctuary.
"But… if you don't see a future with me…then… all I ask is, is that you have a smile on you're face throughout any path you choose to take… because I will always love you…" She smiled sadly as she snuggled into the warmth of his chest knowing that their time together could come to an end any moment.
