Note: This songfic is AU, unless you
want to think of Heero as dead and an black winged angel as well
as Duo is a cursed female. But that's you, not me. According to
me, in this songfic, Duo is a girl and Heero is a black winged
angel.
A girl is shown alone in her bedroom.
She looks around, as if looking for someone in particular that is
not there. She hugs herself. A black winged angel appears in the
room, but the girl hasn't seen the angel. The angel steps near to
the girl. The girl's eyes close and her mouth opens partially.
The angel lightly strokes the girl's chestnut braid and leans
toward the girl to kiss her. The angel does kiss her and she
readily kisses him back, as if she had been waiting for his kiss.
*I didn't hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
And I don't want to move a thing
It might change my memory*
The next day, the girl is seen walking
in a park. The angel is no where to be seen. The girl stops by a
tree and leans against it. She pushes her braid over her shoulder
and lays her hand over her eyes. The angel appears in a nearby
tree, leaning against the tree trunk, watching the girl.
*Oh I am what I am
I'll do what I want
But I can't hide*
The girl's hand uncovers her eyes and
she stares directly at the tree that the angel is standing in.
She doesn't see the angel, but looks around, seeing nothing she
wants to see. A noise is heard in the fairly quiet park and the
girl starts. A pair of men appear on the path the girl had been
walking on. The angel glowers at the two men. The girl gasps and
starts running. The men look around and see only the girl
running. They run after the girl.
*I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me*
The girl easily loses the men chasing
her. She pauses by a wall to catch her breath, but appears like
she is having a problem breathing. The angel appears behind her,
watching concerned as the girl slides down the wall, breathing
hard. The angel glances around, chewing on his lower lip.
*I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me*
Later, the girl is shown in a hospital bed. Her only companion
in the room is the dark winged angel.
*I don't want to call my friends
They might wake me from this dream
And I can't leave this bed
Risk forgetting all that's been*
There is a noise. The angel looks up from his rapt study of
his love to see the girl's family walk in the room.
*Oh I am what I am
I'll do what I want
But I can't hide*
The girl's family leaves the room, leaving the two alone once
more.
*I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me*
The angel walks over to his love, his wings rustling behind
him. He studies the machines, looking for one in particular. He
finds the machine. With one hand around the plug that keeps his
love alive, he bends down to kiss her warm lips one more time. As
their lips touch, he yanks the plug out of its socket, swiftly
killing his love.
*I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me*
A white winged angel watches silently as the doctor pronouces
that, "Time of death, 2:30 pm, July 3rd."
The angel bites her lip, staring at her now quite dead body.
"Duo." a voice says behind her. The girl turns
around to see her black winged love.
"Heero..." the girl sighs, running into his arms.
He lifts her chin up and kisses her deeply, wrapping his black
wings around her.
"I love you..." He says, as he and his love
disappear from the room.
