Disclaimer: Don't sue me. I don't own RENT. I wish I did, But I don't. Oh well. That's life. (I shake my fist at life. He laughs at me) A/N: I originally wrote this as an assignment in class. I found this amusing. Hope you like it.

It was one of those nights in New York when the wind blows softly and the air is crisp and clean like after a rain on a beautiful spring day. She had just come out of a late movie. She stood there for a while thinking, thinking of the first time that she had seen this movie. It was their first date for they had met at a café not to far from where they lived. He suggested that they see a movie. There was a revival of old movies at one of the theaters down town she decided to go see "The African Queen." She was brought back to reality by a sudden whoosh of water; a car had just driven through a puddle and had splashed her with cold, dirty city water. She was now wet and sad but before she went home she decided to visit the cemetery. She walked down the sidewalk looking at all the city had to offer but she did not see it just passed it all by for it did not exist to her if he was not in it. She made an abrupt turn to the left then down a side street and she was there at the place where Mark lay next to his friends Mimi, Roger, and Angel. She sat down on the grave and thought for awhile on there life. It was a fun life full of happiness. She thought about the time when she met all his friends. It was his birthday and she had got him a new camera. For he needed one his old one was just about to fall apart. It had been a year since then and in that year she had seen many things. She had seen lovers die in each other's arms. She had seen two women get marred and have a child. She has also seen a man who she had thought to be heart broken from the lover he had lost so many years ago fall back in to love with a man that seemed the most unlikely person in the world. Again she was brought back to the present time by a twig snapping on the ground it was Collins coming her way. She dried her eyes and stood up. "I now sweetie, I now you miss, him I miss him to." He held out his arms and she went to him and he held her as she cried. She drew back but not out of his embraces. He wiped a tear from her face and smiled. "So why are you hear?" she asked. "I came to put a new flower on Angel's grave, but I did not expect to find you here." "Well, I was on my way home from seeing a movie when I decided to come and say hi." "I do that some times," he said. She looked back at the graves and said, "You know I made a kind of poem about Mark." "Oh!" "Yes I did, would you like to hear it?" "Why not, let's walk and talk," he said. So she and he walked and she told him, her poem it lasted as long as it took them to get home. When they got there, she bid him good bye and he left she sat down on the floor, she held his camera close to her hart she laid down and cried her self to sleep.
