AN: I just finished this book hours ago, and I LOVED it. I had this sudden urge to write afterwards, and after doing some homework started writing this. It's told from Cooper's point of view just for fun and maybe some laughs. Hope you like. :)

I stared down the little intruder with dark eyes waiting for it to make its move.
It just stared at me with beady, teeny eyes with pupils that reminded me of the night. Its eyes were weird too. It was like they being held up by sticks or something. I'd seen something like it back on the island with Mom before but not one this size. It was bigger than usual, but still…smaller than me.
It reminded me of rock. A red one that is. I'd bitten into one before. Didn't taste very good… And it didn't have paws or hands…it had…what had Tory called them? Oh yeah. Pinchers. Or something like that. I shuddered remembering a time when one had decided it didn't like my nose.
Luckily, I didn't want to eat this one. I didn't want to play with it either. I wanted it out of here. No one was allowed to enter the den except my pack. This…thing had to leave.
I curled my lip to show my teeth, and made a fatal attempt to snarl. It came out like a whimper.
The thing moved in a flash, and lifted its pinchers in the air.
I flinched. I really needed to work on that…
"Fine," I snapped at it. "I'll just-"
Just as I was about to lunge for it, two hands scooped me up laughing. "Don't bother with the crab, Coop. He'll leave when he's ready."
I recognized her scent immediately and yipped happily trying to lick her face.
Tory laughed again. "Hello to you too." She grinned from ear to ear and carried me over to the back of then den to sit against the wall. I squirmed from her grasp to sit in front of her.
Tory's hair was a reddish color today. Don't ask me why, but in my opinion it went from a dark yellowish color to a reddish orange. It was red most of the time. Or was it just orange? Sorry. Blabbering. Anyway, she has sky blue eyes, and today wore a plain white t-shirt, and shorts that were made out of some blue fabric.
Tory was one of the people who'd rescued me from…well I don't really know. I just remember it being white and it smelled of… clean…stuff. Things that burned my nose and eyes.
AN: Sorry to cut off, but I don't have time to write anymore tonight. I hope to write more tomorrow and finish this one-shot up.
Hope you guys liked what I had though. I tried to think like a small puppy so it's not as detailed as I'd like it to be, but hope you enjoyed it. :) Thanks for reading. Reviews would be greatly appreciated. :)
