EPOV

I didn't speak. I just looked at her in horror.

"What?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper

Bella locked arms with Rosalie before responding.

"I said I wanted to keep him."

Everyone was quiet. Everyone, Alice, Emmett, Carlisle, Jasper, Esme, and Rosalie, were all standing outside the airport terminal. The whole family had decided to come when they heard about the potential situation. All of their thoughts seemed just as confused as mine currently were except for Rosalie's:

Wow. He's speechless for once.

She practically sneered it.

I took a deep breath trying to collect myself enough to the point where I could speak again.

"Bella, can we at least talk about this first?" I pleaded.

"What's there to talk about? The decision already been made. We're keeping this baby," Rosalie replied for Bella. I didn't miss the fact that she had said "we're."

Bella just nodded.

"Uh, we can talk about it some more on the way home," Carlisle suggested.

Everyone started to walk away, but I couldn't move. So I just stood there.

"Um, may I please speak to Bella alone?" I almost growled.

"No," Rosalie shot back.

Bella, Rosalie, and I were in the living room. The rest of the family was elsewhere obviously trying to give Bella and me some privacy, unlike Rosalie. I closed my eyes in frustration.

"Just say what you have to say Edward," Bella said quietly.

I opened my eyes to unwillingly oblige.

"Okay, look Bella, I understand that you want to keep the-" I winced at the next word, "child, but we don't know what it is or if it will hurt you or something."

I tried to articulate my point adequately by speaking slowly.

"No, you don't understand. I'm not a child, Edward. I know what I want, and I know what I'm doing," Bella shot back, "And further more, our child is not an it."

I took breath and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Alright. We don't exactly know what he is or what he'll develop into or if he'll hurt you."

"He won't hurt me," Bella tried to assure me, "I know he won't."

She looked at her stomach as she wrapped her arms around her round belly lovingly.

I had come to believe that I had long since gotten over the mystery that was her mind and was over not being able to read her thoughts the way I could easily read others. But as this moment I yearned to know what exactly was asinine thoughts were running through her mind as I tried to understand the meaning of the dreamy expression on her face.

"Good. Then it's settled," Rosalie interjected, "Now Edward leave."

"What?!" I erupted.

"Are you dense? I said leave. I need to talk to Bella," Rosalie explained.

I was about to say more, but Bella spoke up:

"Just leave, Edward. Please."

I was pretty sure my mouth was hanging wide open, but I couldn't care less because all my thoughts were a huge whirl wind right now, so with that, I exited the house, jumped over the river, and just ran at full speed. I just needed to get away to think. I just needed to run.
