Chapter one. The greeting. ((Ginny's POV))
"It's my first year next year!" I thought to myself, as we took Ron, George, Fred, and Percy to Kings Cross Station. I was so excited! Next year, it'd be me boarding that train. As we were walking in, to get to the platform, this boy with rather messy hair came and asked Mum how to get to Platform 9 and ¾. He reminded me of someone, though I wasn't sure who. Mum told him, and he ran through the wall. He stood on the platform completely alone. I wanted to go and talk to him, but Mum said no. He looked very nice. Suddenly, he picked up his trunk, and boarded the train. I wondered why he was alone, and why he was so quiet. Fred and George ran to help him with his large trunk, and once he was settled, they ran out, and told us that the boy was Harry Potter! He was like a celebrity! I'd never met a celebrity. "Mum! Can I go see him?" I pleaded. I wanted to talk to him. "No! He isn't an animal at the zoo!" she responded, snappily. I frowned. "I never said he was!" I thought. I looked at him through the window. He looked very lonely. But, why? A boy who was that famous, to be so lonely... I didn't understand. The trains whistle blew and we knew it was time to board the train. Percy, Fred, George, and Ron all climbed on. I waved goodbye, and followed the train to the end of the station. I took a last look at Harry Potter, and saw my brother Ron sitting with him! "That's not fair!" I thought to myself. But, I knew I couldn't do anything about it, so I completely forgot about it.
