Each toa had a respective time to guard, Hewkii, Kongu, ad Nuparu in the day, Jaller, Takanuva, and Hahli at night. Takanuva really enjoyed working with his old friend, but had noticed that he had become much closer with someone else. He remembered before they became toa. How both Jaller and the other showed definite interest in each other at that fateful Kohli game. He soon realized that during the two's travels how they had bonded, so that night he decided to let the two alone and patrol another part of the city.

Hahli asked, "Do you remember that one Kohli tournament a few months ago?" "When we were still Matoran?" He questioned. "Well, yeah…" She blushed, "I remember us having something. Do you remember that?" "What do you mean?" He replied. "You know, like we could have been in a relationship," Hahli nervously answered. The Toa of fire realized what she was trying to say. "And when you died, I was so scared, I had barely knew you, but I still cared for you. Afterwards, when we returned here, it looked like we could be together. But we didn't, we had a call to duty. We went off to Voya Nui, became Toa and had to forget about it." "Hahli, I know. Our duty came first. We still have to wait. You are the most perfect girl I know, you are independent, strong, and intelligent. You have saved my ass more times than I can count. I love you and want us to be together." Haili blushed and immediately hugged her toa brother. "I love you, too." She immediately kissed Jaller, who was still in shock.
