**Hello Everyone! I'm going to start a Doctor Who/ Harry Potter cross over story with the 10th Doctor and Hermione Granger as the main characters. The inspiration of my story is this song by The Wanted, called Glad You Came (which is where my title comes from). The lyrics are listed below. The first chapter will follow soon. And for the record, I do not own anything Doctor Who or Harry Potter related.**

The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came

You cast a spell on me, spell on me
You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me
And I decided you look well on me, well on me
So let's go somewhere no-one else can see, you and me

Turn the lights out now
Now I'll take you by the hand
Hand you another drink
Drink it if you can
Can you spend a little time,
Time is slipping away from us so stay,
Stay with me I can make,
Make you glad you came

The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I'm glad you came
I'm glad you came

Hermione peered out her window in Gryffindor tower, gazing her eyes across the starry night sky. This was part of her nightly bedtime ritual. She would be searching for him as she always had since she was a girl of four years old. The him referred to the Doctor, the Traveling Lonely Time Lord that her grandfather had told her so much about. Her grandfather had met this Doctor when he was a lad and had made Hermione promise a solemn vow to always be on the watch for the Doctor. Hermione had kept her promise and faithfully checked, though sometimes wondering why she did. After all, she was a sensible person, and a sensible person did not look up at the night sky to find a man traveling in a blue box. Glancing once more at the sky, she caught a shooting star passing by. Laughing quietly to herself, Hermione did another non-sensible thing and wished with all her heart to meet this Doctor. Hermione crawled into bed, not knowing that in a few short hours her wish would come true.
