One day, Spongebob woke up to the sound of his foghorn and got ready to go to the Krusty Krab. He took shower, brushed his teeth, and got dressed in his uniform. Then he went downstairs to feed Gary. "Another day, another dollar", he said. Spongebob ate his cereal and went to work.
It was two thirty p.m. and the Krusty Krab was busier than ever! Krabby Patties were flipping everywhere, the cash register was overflowing, and Squidward was working. "One Krabby Patty, Spongebob!" said Squidward
"Coming right up!" said Spongebob. All of a sudden, Patrick burst in holding onto an invitation with Spongebob's name on it. "Hi Patrick," Spongebob said calmly. "What are you doing here?"
"Well," Patrick started, "I came here to invite you to my employee of the month party."
"Who's it for?" asked Spongebob.
"It's for you, silly!" Patrick exclaimed.
"Really?! You would do that for me!?" Spongebob cried.
"Anything for my best buddy," Patrick replied, happily.
"Spongebob where's that Krabby Patty?!" Squidward demanded. Oh no, Spongebob thought. He looked on the stove and saw a burnt Krabby Patty just lying there.
Later on, Spongebob was off at the party pogo jumping with Patrick. "Patrick, this is so fun!" Spongebob exclaimed. "Thanks for inviting me."
"No problem," Patrick replied. "Hey, look how high I can jump!" Patrick jumped so high, he touched the roof of his rock.
"Wow!" said Spongebob. "That's amazing. Can you teach me how to do that?"
"The party is almost over," said Patrick. "I'll show you another time."
"That's okay," Spongebob said. "I would hurt myself anyway."
"See you tomorrow," said Patrick.
"See you tomorrow," replied Spongebob.
Spongebob left the party, changed out of his uniform, and climbed into bed. "Goodnight, Gary," said Spongebob sleepily.
"Meow," said Gary. Spongebob yawned and fell asleep.
