A/N: Because I love Fëanor and Fingolfin as friends way too much for my own mental health. :)
Some people say that death heals wounds that life cannot. This is not always true, but sometimes it is. This time, it appears as if it might be. Between the sons of Finwë, there is a gulf that many - the sons themselves included (though one did not even wish it to be gone) - thought would never be bridged. Well, if Fëanor and Fingolfin are speaking to each other, surely this gulf CAN be bridged. Maybe it already has been. In any case, one of the greatest hurts of Middle Earth is beginning to heal. Something like that doesn't happen every day. Fëanor and Fingolfin wouldn't just start speaking to each other for no reason. For the sanity of the Valar; let's hope they aren't plotting anything. Let's hope they're not plotting something.
