A/N: Because I have this obsession with ModernDay!Maglor.
When I had agreed to move to the coast, I will not deny that this wasn't what I expected. No one told me that villagers see someone (not one of them) walking along the beach once a year on May 17th. They say that the 'ghost' just appears out of nowhere, watches the sea as if searching for something or someone, then vanishes as swiftly as he appears. Ironically, I finished moving in on May 17th. When I went down to the beach, it was strangely empty save for a man sitting beside a large piece of driftwood; playing a harp and singing a strange melody in a language I had never heard before. This must be the ghost the villagers spoke of. The sun sets and the man rises, casts one last look at the sea and vanishes. I am left standing alone, watching the place where he had been mere seconds ago. I may forget what he looked like, the strange clothes he wore or anything else about him, but I know that I will never forget that haunting melody. I will never forget that forlorn look he gave the sea before leaving. That lost, hopeless and lonely look. I will not forget. I would not forget. I could not forget.
