Author's note: This is for the "30 Kisses" theme challenge on LJ. Though this first "chapter" is a poem, the following chapters may contain drabbles, ficlets or even longer stories. In the space
between dream
and reality,
I can hold you.
You are sunlight
in my embrace,
chasing away
the shadows.
In your sweet
slumber, do you
dream of me?
Does your body
ache as mine
does for you?
Do you know I
love you more
than any dream
of life or death,
and I would gladly
lay my kingdom
at your feet
for a kiss?
