If I get a good enough response I'll make a story out of this. If not, then this is nothing more than a somber one-shot song parody of Garth Brooks' The Beaches of Cheyenne.

If the story happens, here is the plot:
Beast Boy took matters into his own hands, for reasons known only to himself, and died for it. Raven lost it when she found out and is something akin to dead herself. How does one move on from something like this? Is it even possible? This is a tale of finding the courage to come to terms with impossibly painful circumstances set against the backdrop of why it happened in the first place.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the "brilliant" wordplay. The song is Garth's and the Teen Titans are DC's.

Nevermore Ever Again
Prologue:
The Beaches of Jump City

They packed up all his junk
And shipped his purple & black jumpsuit to the Doom Patrol
And by the way the Tower looked
Rae must have took it bad
Titans East come on Monday
To help fix the doors and patch the walls
Starfire said Raven just went crazy
The night she got the call

Beast Boy was up in Slade's Hideout
Engaged in a battle he couldn't win
He promised her he'd save the day
Well it turned out that he lied
And their fight that they'd been fightin'
From that island in the bay
Died right there with him somewhere in Jump City

Starfire said Raven just went crazy
Screamin' out Gar's name
She ran out into the bay
And to this day Cyborg claims
That if you go down by the water
You'll see her footprints in the sand
'Cause every night she walks the beaches of Jump City

The Titans never found her body
Just Raven's diary by her bed
It told about the fight they had
And those last words that she had said
When BB told her he was goin'
For justice and revenge
Rae said then I don't give a damn
If you don't make it back alive from Jump City

Starfire says Raven just went crazy
Screamin' out Gar's name
She ran out into the bay
And to this day Cyborg claims
That you can go down by the water
And see her footprints in the sand
'Cause every night Raven walks the beaches of Jump City

Nobody can explain it
But the rest of the Titans know she's still alive
Robin even claims to have seen her
On the shoreline late at night
Mourning the only way she knows
So if you go down by the water
You'll see her footprints in the sand
'Cause every night Raven walks the beaches of Jump city

Every night Raven walks the beaches of Jump City
