"Oh my god!", I heard Alice shriek throughout our mountainside mansion. She sped down the stairs, flying by Carlisle's study, and the kitchen. Objects and papers fell behind her, as she stopped at the glass wall to look out into Esme's beautiful garden.
"Alice, darling, what's wrong?" I asked, concerned for my wife's sudden behavior. Just moments ago we had been sharing innocent kisses, and whispering sweet nothings into each others ears. Well, as innocent a pair of vampires can kiss anyway. I placed a strong, pale hand on her shoulder, when she spun around sporadically.
" Jazz, we have to help her! We have too!", she cried, her desperation and sympathy pounding into me. I took a step or two back, regaining my thoughts.
"Woah, Alice, what're you talking about?", I questioned, intrigued and worried.
"The girl! I saw a little girl, she couldn't be but 4, and she had on a little blue and white dress, and it was horridly dirty, and she had blonde curls with all sorts of mud in it, and…god, Jazz, she looked so…dejected, pathetic, terrified! She's going to wander into Esme's garden in about…34 seconds, but how could anyone leave a little girl like that?", her eyes were strained, and if she was human, I sure she would've been wracked with sobs by now. I straightened, and wrapped my steel ivory arms around her, whispering 'it's okay' and 'we'll figure it out' to her, as we waited for the down trodden child.
We were the only one's in the house right now, because Rose and Emmett had gone to look at new cars, Edward and Bella were out somewhere in the Canadian Mountains doing…god knows what, and Carlisle and Esme had decided to take a day trip to Isle Esme, as sort of a 43rd mini-honeymoon.
Just as Alice predicted, 34 seconds later, a little girl un-gracefully waltzed into Esme's lush garden. Alice rushed outside, and to the side of the girl. Unfortunately, she scared her half to death in the process, resulting in her fainting on the ground. Alice was over come with guilt, as I jumped to her side, and scooped the little child up. She was truly beautiful.
Her long blonde hair, though dirty, was in messy ringlets, her pale skin was like piano keys, and could have easily rivaled our own. She was only about 3 feet tall, give or take, and was about as cute as could be. Her blue and white sailor dress was ridden with mud and other debris, the frills torn and frayed. Her black Mary Jane's were scuffed, and she truly looked worse for wear. Though, even under all that, she could have been a vampire in beauty. Innocent, though. I could only imagine her ocean blue eyes.
We had to save her.

Hello, there. My name is Elizabeth, and this is my first fan fiction on here! Please, review. This is just a slight preview of my story Save Her and I would like some reviews to see if I should keep it going. Also, if you want another child story with the Cullens and Hales, check out Bella Hale by JulesSC. She's amazing. Anyway, again, I'm Elizabeth, reviews are welcome, flames are to leave a message with my secretary, Emmett.
Much Love, Elizabeth.
