BIOTECH INDUSTRIES. The sign was big and neon, not really what I expected. I had signed up for a program that showed the public what they do here. In exchange, I have to work for them for the summer. Cool huh? The bus stopped in front of the main doors and we got off the bus. All six of us. A man in a lab coat was standing next to a red head woman in a red business suit. "Welcome to Biotech Industries! I'm glad you all signed up for this, we really need your help." The woman's voice was high and almost shrill, yet still sounded friendly and caring. "If you'll come right this way we'll show you around, show you your rooms, and then head off for day one of your new jobs."

One of the volunteers, a small girl with …blue hair? A small girl with blue hair spoke up. "The description says we'll be experimental assistants. What does that mean exactly?"

"Oh you'll see soon enough. First, however, the grand tour!"

The red head lead us through almost a maze of machines and gizmos and halls. We even got a glimpse of what looked like an anti-gravity chamber. Things began to wear on and I finally popped the big question. "So, uh, what exactly do you guys do here?" The doctor stopped. "Well now, Darius is it? We basically try to improve already existing technology. We also specialize in bio-tech research. That is, we try to improve the human species."

Everyone was drawn in at this. "So what does that mean, specifically?"

"Well…you've heard of the dangers of steroids right?" everyone nodded at this. "Well we modified the drug and have eliminated the most severe of the side effects' now it only has allergic reactions and cold symptoms on that list."

All jaws dropped. This was defiantly going to be a strange adventure…
